Will only work for individuals. If your in a clan and pitch a tent or two near each other you can still go pick up items from your clan mates tent. I think they need to make it so you can't steal stuff from anyones tents but your own tbh (along with tents being destroyed when you die).

The amount of "Versions" is getting a bit rediculous

You need a DayZ version, ARMA beta patch version and a battle eye version. If you use six launcher or command launcher it will update, but if you try using the in-game server list its a different version if you don't manually patch. Servers are all mixing and matching versions and its making it a little difficult to join a game right now because you can't join due to having a different one. Thanks for listening GD Diary. -

Yeah the survival game is kind of ruined. I hope new players are going to join this game to PvP because thats all there is. Ive been staying North of Petrovsky and a few other places and just coming in to hit up for loot. It doesn't matter though, even if Im 1km off the Grid someone will teleport to me and kill me. Can't avoid PvP no matter what you do or go.

They are most active on AU/NZ servers from my experience. I actually go to US servers and ride the 400 ping train to try to get a decent game going. -

Its probably not the stance that Rocket would take, but if a server admin wants to ban you for anything, he should be able to. I don't care, hes paying for a server for you to use, if your doing something he doesn't want you to do then go ahead admin. -

Id be surprised if there is anyone who hasn't experienced hackers in this game. I experience them every day I play the game. The game is completely broken because of it. If you play the game there will be points were you consider quitting because of how rampant the hackers are and how much they ruin your game and progress in it. -

Its happened to me twice. In both cases I started laying underneath a tree. I thought it might have been from spawning with stuff above you. I make sure I log out without nothing above my head. Hasn't happened since but still not sure if that was what was causing it.

Don't worry, wont have it for much longer. I haven't been thunderdomed for 6 hours so I must be overdue for one.

Can I add to that question and ask, should I update? It seems most of the servers in my list are running 1.7.2.4 and only around 10% of them running 1.7.2.5. Will I still be able to play on all the non-updated servers? Will my progress be saved on both? Last update it seemed like most servers had switched over quickly to the point where I didn't even notice, this time most haven't switched. EDIT: Also one reason Im concerned is because Im from Australia and there is a massive shortage of servers in this region, its hard to find one with less than 47 players in it and Im often forced to play with a 300 ping on US servers.

A couple of things, 1. How many are there? I believe there are 5 or 6 but not sure. 2. Are they at the same location on every server? Someone said they think they are. 3. How often does their location change?

If a admin camp of 10+ fully loaded tents blows up in the forest by satchel charge, does it make a sound?

The sound is very similar to that of an admin resetting the server. -

Whilst this is true, most of the killing is going on in coastal towns, where the majority of players have hardly any gear. I can understand killing someone for loot if your at staryoe, Zelengorsk, Dubrovka or at least somewhere remotely inland because these players will actually often have gear that is worth taking. The reality is alot of people just want FFA DM. They don't want to play PvE and there isn't much of a challenge in PvE right now. The balance and content is well in favor of PvP and its up to the developers to address this issue. It needs to cater for players like myself who want to be patient and play PvE predominantly and have occasional PvP fights.

All servers Ive been on have it. How come you have a humanity score on your debug? I don't have one :/

Considering the fact that the leaderboards will probably be full of hackers with godmode and teleport, I don't see much point in making it public.

Is the V3S a hacked-only vehicle?

V3S is legit. Ive seen them scripted. Check the back they are always full of the same gear, mass grenades (like 20) grenade launchers etc. Going by this video Id say its a legit vehicle as well. -
Lived for 3 days without getting killed by a hacker. I thank that more to playing on low pop servers. This morning I jump in for a day full of DayZ. Join a low pop server. I spawn 4km North of Petro off the grid (where I went so I could spawn safely). 30 seconds later someone appears about 200m behind me. Then hes 200m in front of me. Im dead. skiddies are more frequent on non-school nights. Time for a fresh start!

Personally I think the Zombies are still way too weak and the Audible range on most weapons need a big boost and should aggro zombies if they are within that audible range. If im in or near a town and I fire, I want to regret it and have a hard task of surviving. -

Got another one: Less soda cans. I really don't need canteens. I want canteens and visits to watering holes to be needed in the game. But they are not because Soda cans are too frequent.
