    If you leave the game by methods other than disconnect (if you Alt+F4) then you will end up spawning on the coast. Its seems to be a temp fix/solution to players who are avoiding death by Alt + F4 during a firefight.

    Alot more content or this game will get old quickly. Alot of players seem to be opposed to PvE content because they just want PvP. What they have to understand is, if the game caters for both PvE and the PvP players the PvP players will actually have someone to shoot. If there isn't alot of content added, this game will lose players pretty quickly. Im already running out of ideas as to what I should try next and Ive only been playing this mod for a month.

    I use waypoints because im not hardcore enough to run around with the compass up all the time. It will probably be useless to me soon as I pretty much know where I am at any time after playing the game for only a month.

    Tents should be immediately destroyed on your death. Its possible for me and I do sometimes run straight to my tent after a respawn (I pick up 1 can of beans and 1 Soda from nearest town which is enough to get me there). Other times I want to experience the fresh spawn feeling again. This obviously isn't enough to stop the loot inflation but alot of fixes like this would help. Id be fine to temporarily remove tents. But at the same time, duping and hacking apparently won't be "fixed" during the mod so what is the point. Mod will be forever broken where "standalone" is the solution.... almost sounds like its intended as a sales point.

    Killing Zombies doesn't increase your humanity. Apparently the only things that do are: - Giving blood transfusions - Bandaging players - Killing Bandits - Removing tank traps - Removing Barbed wire Can't confirm these, I haven't tested, its just what Ive read.

    7 days between when it is destroyed and respawn. It can respawn at any one of the locations its listed as being on the dayz db map... http://dayzdb.com/map

    I haven't died for about 5 days. In the last 2 weeks though I have been killed about all 8 times, all guaranteed hacks (Thunderdome, Server Nukes and players teleporting all around me before killing me).

    Its not guaranteed to be hacked in. It was originally in the game and was removed due to being Overpowered. But anyone who still had one could keep them. Even though its most likely hacked in, it could be some vet DayZ player who lost it.

    Bandit skins last between lives. There are more vehicles on the map because hackers spawn them in, use them and leave them. They don't go until they are destroyed.

    The admins i know told me they can't see vehicles, but they can watch your movements (via a map tool). Hackers can see your vehicles. Helicopters see them really easily.

    Military Zombies are the most common place for me to find NVGs. This includes the ones at both Chopper crash sites and deer stands.

    An easier method. Go to all the major hack sites and register for the forums. Look at the amount of people in those forums. DayZ is the most hacked game right now. There can be over 5k people in one forum at some points.

    There has to be a reasonable balance between World 1 and World 2. Too much to one of them and the game is a fail. I play on night time on low pop servers to avoid hackers in my local servers, it is extremely boring. World 1 needs a hell of alot more content. In World 2 there is way too much expendible ammo from hacked in items and constant duping (intentionally or by accident). If PvP was legit, your shots would need to count and you would need to do some PvE to maintain your stores if your unsuccessful in looting your kills.

    I made a thread about two days back saying it should happen. A mod came in and said something to the effect that Hacking and duping needed to be sorted out first. It would be a good chance to actually test the Alpha without the loot inflation from hacks/dupes, but I doubt thats going to happen before standalone, if ever.

    Its not that new. Hackers have been able to disable your abort key for a while. Its just that you can't Alt+F4 since the new patch that its become prevalent.

    I find it also helps if you play at night time and with no third person view. Hackers like easy mode.
