I just want waypoints and I'm k. I don't like plotting a bearing and running directly across open fields. Also I think characters shouldn't be able to cross between one difficulty and another. And also the current setup where you can go into an empty server and completely gear up is BS and gamebreaking.

Blacks OPs and Black OPs 2 are both hacked. The only game I even consider cheat/hack free is LoL. But not all games can do what they do. And even then hacks pop up from time to time, but they are quickly dealt with.

Its started a trend for me. I now kill everyone on sight that I meet IRL too.

There are potential bugs there with tents and vehicles. But everything, in theory, should be fine as long as you have saved it.

I don't know. I haven't died in a long time. Most of my lives are between 30-60 days on my private hives in my favorites list. But sometimes I wish I would be killed by someone so I could have a fresh start. I don't want to die by illegitimite means (AKA bugs/hackers), but if it happens I wouldn't care too much. On one of my lives a while back I was teleported into there air. Just before I hit the ground I logged. Then logged back in. Hit the ground and broke my legs and was bleeding. My inventory was empty ^^. But there was a dead body behind me and it had bandages, morphine, epi pen and painkillers. Fixed myself up and went hunting. But yeah it sucks when there is nothing you can do about bugs/hackers. Id rather it was a legit death for sure. Either way its still a chance to start new.

Ive been considering doing a "survival challenge" for a while where I record myself as a fresh spawn, but keeping strict rules about what I can and can't do to keep illegitimate components of the game out of the equation (duping, hacked weapons etc). Ive haven't really seen anyone have a good run at this. The only one I can think of is Rhino Cruch who lasted like 3 hours before making it to stary sobor and getting killed in an ambush. After that he gave up and went back to his duped/hacked weapons from buddies, which was disappointing. I don't know if I will get around to it though.

You need AS50s for hunting wild boars. Hate to break the bubble, but that base wasn't very big. Thats smaller than what my average base looks like before it gets raided by teleporting ESP hackers.

I didn't miss the point. I don't care about spelling, punctuation or grammar. I also think its pretty retarded to be a spelling nazi in a game forum.

I generally kill everyone I see. However, in some cases I see people in a position I don't really want to be in when looting their body. So in this case I will watch and wait. But if they are just hanging around in that location then I will just kill them. Dead players/fresh spawns pose no threat.

Make sure the windows are all repaired.

Its harder to answer which one is better than which one is worst. I think you would find the majority answering makarov if the question was which is worst.

His point is that there isn't much point in playing standalone if the hacking is going to be as rampant as it is atm. Im completely with that. There is no point playing a game that will involved getting griefed everytime you join a server because they can.

Just ignore the haters. There are plenty of skilled survivors out there. Its only the bads that complain about it. Better they learn to survive now. Being a bandit is a legit part of the game and there is a skin for it for a reason. If anything I think they need to extend the coastal spawn areas right up to and including Berezino. I play as a bandit and when Ive been scouring the map for hours it starts to become obvious where everyone is, they are loot cycling in Cherno and Elektro, so I go kill them there. Survivors need to take a look at the map sometimes and realise there are more than two places on the map. Without the PvP in this game it is rediculously easy and boring. New players might get excited about a PVE DayZ, but the fun with quickly wair off. Everyone wants to PvP otherwise you would be seeing all the 0 population servers have 1-4 people in them playing PvE.

I don't scream into the microphone or anything, but if Ive stumbled upon someone who only has a bandage and a makarov I do consider them a noob. I mean it takes maybe ten minutes to gear up and get something better than a makarov to protect yourself with. What are the odds Id find someone in this situation and kill them in those ten minutes? Its highly unlikely unless they are bad at the game and don't know how to play it. Although I haven't died for quite a few weeks on any characters, I don't have a problem getting weapons and other necessities and defending myself, if you can't do this at the start of a fresh life I can only assume your bad at the game.

A point you just made thought of something I found interesting. I won't quote you because it wasn't related to what was being discussed. But I noticed there are some similarities between bandits and Heroes. For instance, burying a body seems to be fairly important for both, whether it was a kill from them or not. Both bandits and heroes want a controlled state in the game. Bandits want it so they can have a dominant stance over survivors. Heroes want it so they can keep the survivors in check whilst dealing with bandits. Not sure if that makes sense, just something I noticed.

Yeah it seems like there has been an increase in godmode hackers in the last couple of weeks. This is on private hives as well. As a Bandit its a little annoying, but nothing you can do. It doesn't take a long time to gear up again anyways. I just ignore it and move on. Some people don't like to play fair and this game has attracted the worst kind of people for some reason. Its hard to do but sometimes I just combat log. But I won't do it unless Im certain (as in im seeing the blood come out of them from alot of shots but they don't die). It makes it even harder that the damage system seems to have a massive delay between when you deal damage to a player and when it registers as dealing damage, so you can't be sure.... you can hit them ten times clearly but it might take 20 seconds for the shots to register. Private hives are a fair bit better, but there are still plenty of cheaters in them.

You must be hacking OP. Going by the claims of hackers they are all just doing it to protect others from hackers. Hackers actually are really good people protecting us.

Its just a term used by players who are bad at DayZ.

Im a bandit in my early 30s. I quite like the PvP and killing for survival. Looting towns doesn't feel very interesting to me. I like the intensity of getting into a firefight with someone and the threat that is posed, if you die you lose everything, if you don't you may only gain a couple of cans of beans. Outside of PvP the game is unrealistically easy, which is what draws me to being a bandit. I can increase the difficulty in my game and help reduce the farmville component of the game.
