Ive been playing on a private hive where players are banned for duping. The admin clearly states that duping = ban. It can be policed in private hives, just not public ones. -

Ive been in the habit of saving twice. Last night there was a reset. I come back on this morning and my one full tent had become two tents with nothing in them. I think saving twice is causing problems. Could be wrong tho. -
I agree here. Private hives have downsides too, but there still alot better than public hives.

Kind of a borderline time to buy with the standalone so close. I personally would probably jump in straight away and start playing with hindsight. Gives you an idea of how the game plays. That said, expect to be killed by hackers frequently and don't expect too much, the mod is seriously lacking in content. -
FYI, you can do this without cheating. And who really cares about a trading post in a private hive. You know you can't take gear from public hives right? Basically you would be joining a server where you know the admins are hackers and exploiters...

Im confused. How can he be talking about a global ban. Server Admins can only issue a server ban and send the logs to BattleEye for them to issue a global ban. -

Ban them. I believe they have the right to appeal. If they appeal provide any evidence you might have. If the moderators believe its enough to ban they the ban sticks. If its inadequate proof then the ban doesn't. In this case, if your not sure if they were definately a hacker then unban them and tell the team you did. If your sure the person was a hacker then tell the team you unbanned them, but don't actually unban them. -

What's the point of helicopters?

Most videos on youtube do show stuff like that. It doesn't make it any less beneficial. You can identify any tent/vehicle/crashed heli spawn on the map better than any other method. You can access certain places that can't be accessed any other way. You can travel further faster than any other method. Just because there are alot of stupid pilots who fly over highly populated sniper locations doesn't make it less advantageous. -
Some of the stuff you see in there is pretty funny. I mostly just use it to help players by marking out anything of value to them that I cant use like heli crash sites.
