Theres not much point in doing it unless BI starts detecting weapon/ammo scripting and Rocket fixes the duping. Also they need to make BI latest detections mandatory on hive servers because there isn't much point if some servers are allowing scripting of UAZs full off weapons and ammo whilst others aren't.

I use bicycles only. They always save for me.

Ive been saving my tents and they are 100% reliable.

Rocket is too busy being in over his head and failing to release patches in a reasonable timeframe.

First, I want to point out that I'm not looking at the bugs with losing gear, duplicating or placement. Right now this is serving a purpose in the Alpha Mod because there are no ways for loot depreciation in game. But, no matter how well you hide your tent, it is going to be found in the game right now (even without hackers). Pretty much every tent I have had on various servers has been hit at some time. On many of them it was raided every night. And new tents would appear within a 1-2 sqr km grid with the same stuff I had in my tent. Other times the gear would be stolen along with vehicles or anything else I had there (or someone destroyed them). It was getting to a point where my gaming experience was completely revolving around scouting out my tent and the areas around it to try to identify where my gear went. And Rocket is talking about this Chernaraus+ map to possibly go up 200 players on one server, which is only going to amplify this. I already feel like in order to not be griefed every single day is being online 24/7 and protecting my tent. But I have a life and a full time career, so it can't be done. In reality though, why should I need to do this once the game has integrated an adequate loot table and better means of loot depreciation. I mean, if I had a tent, Id be sleeping in it when Im not "online" and if someone came along to steal all my stuff, someone is going to die. But its not just that. I also really don't like how tents last for so long after you die (3days). With this setup it means your never a fresh spawn. When you die you can pick up some food and water and head straight back to your tent to rekit out. It feels like this completely removes the concept of a new life when I can use equipment, gear and weapons I have from a previous life. Shouldn't tents be destroyed when you die?

Over it. Sick of being forced to sneak into 4 player servers to find two of them are hacking. If anyone knows, let me know via PM. Would rather play SP DayZ than go over to WarZ, but if Im left with no choice then so be it.

Come back for Standalone :) The game is very tiresome now but things will hopefully improve after that. Theres no other games worth playing now. If WarZ comes out before the standalone I might take a break from DayZ give that a go for a while until standalone comes.

DayZ is never going to be the same as it was back then. There are too many players who think this is a straight up PvP game and are hell bent on ensuring it stays that way.

Yeah Ive noticed also on the graphics settings i have I can see them through trees/bushes from certain ranges because they render before the trees do. Same with stuff like castles and heli crash sites.

Id rather have heard you say you were going to play survivor (challenge) diaries, because saying your going to be playing Hero diaries suggests your still going to be using all those hacked and duplicated weapons and gear off your buddies.

All starts out well. Nice server with only 4 people online. I do a loot run loop of barns in the area to find more slugs for my 1866 and head back to my tent. Might as well go do a loot run to North East Airfield. With Winchester on my shoulder I ride my bicycle up to the North snipers area and pull up to observe for snipers etc before Im ready to move in. But shortly after a V3S comes taring through the NEAF. But it went straight through and was heading straight for me. It was within 200metres and its still coming so I turn and run to my bicycle and peddle. As suspected, they know exactly where I am and as I hit the road I see them join me in pursuit. We are heading down the road from Olsha to Krastonov. I go through the field near Krasto and back on the road to Gvozdno. It was pretty close for quite some time but neither of us were gaining or losing on the other. But then they slow down. One of them jumps out and the other continues in my direction. I was suspicious the whole time that they were hacking as they knew exactly where I was at NEAF. My thoughts were that one of them was going to teleport to me and shoot me at close range. So I stop checking back to see where the V3S is and shortly after, as expected, somebody randomly appears in front of me with a 249 SAW. I swerve off the road and into the bushes and prompty disconnect whilst still on my bike. I figure Ive evaded the problem. Im not the kind of person who ALT+F4s or combat logs. But when its obvious they are hacking I am not afraid to do so anymore. I watch the server and wait as I want to get back on to see what happened afterwards. I have two tents on this server and figured theyd know exactly where they are and quite possibly "grief" me by destroying them while I wasn't there. 30 minutes later and they are gone from the server. I reconnect and find all the gear in my pack is gone, no food or water or ammo or anything (guessing thats to do with disconnecting whilst on a bike). One of my tents on the server has weapons and ammo whilst the other has food and water so I figure the best option is to head to that tent. But this one tent of mine has changed a bit... There are about 20 tents (all full of gear), the V3S and four dead guys. After examining the dead guys the some how all have the same name. And all in the space of 30 minutes. So yeah they are hackers. Problem is I have two tents near by. So Ive just spent the last 3 hours relocating my 2 tents as I want to play this game legit and all the hacking in that area is going to get alot of attention. Later on an admin came on and I messaged him on the map. Later he gets on to me through direct communication and we discuss what happens and hes banned them and sent their details to BattleEye. Hopefully I won't have a problem with them again. I guess at least I didn't die. It was alot of work relocating. Thank god for the bicycle!

Hmmm. I have an M249SAW and stole an ATV in the middle of the night. If it was by miracle yours, I apologise, I meant to bring it back so I didn't get attention but I made the rookie mistake of running out of fuel.

My goal right now is to see how long I can survive for. Im on day 10 today.

Found every weapon in the game legit except for the MK48 mod 0. I havent seen Rocket launchers either, never really considered them before.

I don't get into many gunfights. Theres not much point since most people I run into are hacking.

Im currently getting alot of stuff others might find valuable. I play as a survivor. All my stuff is legit. But its really hard to organize frequent trading. Thinking a clan might be interested. I mostly only use common weapons and ammo (Winchester1866, Lee Enfield). To give an example of the kind of stuff Im talking about, heres a list of stuff I have looted today and felt I should hold onto in case I can trade it: - AKM - AKS-74U - AS50 - M4A1 - 1x Ghillie Suit - 1x 100Rnd. M240 - 1x 10Rnd. M107 - 4x 30Rnd. AK - 3x 30Rnd. Stanag - 4x AKM Mag - 1x FN FAL Mag. - 1x M203 Flare Green - 1x M203 Flare White Right now Im in need of a Coyote Backpack, Tents, 2xAntibiotics and as much Lee Enfield and 1866 ammo as I can get. If there is a clan out there thats wanting to get a regular supply of mid-high level stuff and trade for lower level stuff let me know. Im finding it hard to get only the stuff I want, despite targetting buildings that spawn them. If theres nobody I can get to do this Ill probably just blow the ammo and ditch the weapons.

Rocket doing a full "survivor challenge", either streaming or uploading it and commentating on the his gameplay as well as giving information on things he comes across in game that he may change. By 'survivor challenge' I mean seeing him live a full life and what he gets up to right up to death.

Personally I think skins should be more customizable and integrate the loot system more, whilst each has pros and cons. And for the current system I think they should implement a different component that doesn't include your skin.
