I could generalize abit to help you ... These specs will be within your budget. For a satisfying gameplay look for - Any quad core CPU running at 3ghz + ( AMD or Intel ) 4GB DDR3 Ram Any 5 series Nvidia Graphics card , 560ti is a decent middle range one. OR Any 6 series Ati ( AMD ) Graphics card 6850 is a decent middle range one. ( or equivlent 7 series ) My own specs just incase your interested Phenom II Quad core @ 3.1Ghz ( old cpu now but a good work horse still ) 8GB DDR3 2 x AMD 6870 in xFire ( crossfire means they are joined together for more power ) 60GB SSD with Operating system on and Arma2/DayZ + 500GB HDD for general storage Win7 64bit. Thats about all you need to know really. Rest is optional, keyboard , mouse , monitor etc... Although if possible get a desktop PC , not a Laptop.

yeah yeah, Iv'e done my fair share of banditry too, trust me im not a nice guy. The "did something wrong" part , was if someone even looked at me funny heh. But are you not bored yet ? If not , then cool beans ! Im glad that line of work keeps your interest :) simple things please simple m**ds

Try Namalsk Demissary. That will give you a purpose to being a bandit........ and not just a douchbag overall nice guy :P

All those asking for more food, more supermarkets, more matches, do you really want to turn this into another Chernarus ? Namalsk turns DayZ upside down, flips it around so that instead of the only real end game of trying to get the best and shiniest weapons and then getting bored so you go kill other survivors for fun aswell as Chernarus - Plentiful food, - Drink, - Ability to live off the land and hide away in the woods to play happy families You now have Namalsk - Plentiful Shiney weapons ( getting the best gear is not endgame anymore ) - Very little food - Extreme environmental challanges - Got to keep moving This gives you a reason to shoot someone, not just for fun, but to survive ! Hoping they have a tin of beans on them or some heatpacks, or even some extra ammo because you don't want to have to venture upto the military base's again in the mountains and have to watse 3+ heatpacks trying not to catch a cold. Im down to my last 2 tins of beans and im on 9k blood. In Chernarus I used to eat those beans as soon as I found them for that extra 200 blood per tin. Or stroll into any open field and kill me a cow for 800 blood per steak. But now, I dare not eat those beans until my food icon starts flashing. Im eating beans to stop myself starving, and not just to get my blood back upto 12k. Oh how I dream of finding that tastey oh so sweet and juicy cow on Namalsk. But im glad they are so rare. It gives me a purpose to kill , steal , plunder without feeling guilty that I killed that guy for nothing. This, is surviving !! I'm on Day 3, I have not once set foot in Vorkuta, yet I have all the available tools. You don't have to go there. Only the foolish , brave and the lucky goto Vorkuta. I am niether of those. Sumrak , is the low temperature achieved by adding a layer of invisible water into the map ? So the code thinks that the player is constantly in the water. Kind of like when you get in a boat on Chernarus ocean you will lose temp even though your not actually touching the water. Reason I ask - ( Bug Report ) - When I log off inland and then log back in again I will be swimming for a couple of seconds actually in the land mass before my character finally stands up on top of the land. - I logged back in earlier inside a building. All my footsteps while moving around inside the building had the splish splash splosh sound effect until I went outside and the footstep sounds returned to normal. - After changing into a ghille suit while inside a building on the ground floor I was then swimming in the building. Char would not stand up and I had to swim outside and travel about 50m away from the building before my char stood up back ontop of the land.

I have calmed down abit myself, I actually let a guy go free last night. But I suppose thats only because he didn't have anything I wanted, well , thinking about it , he was a new spawn so he wouldn't have much anyway heh ! btw, matches matches , my kingdom for a box of matches ..... 2 days in and still havnt found any :( Even killed a cow and put the raw meat in my backpack thinking surely i'll find some matches soon. Had to dump all the raw meat to make way for heatpacks ... dag nammit.

Sounds like this is a few years after the apocalypse and society is on its way to rebuilding it's self. Are you going to split the territories into 12 districts too ? and have 2 survivors from each district battle against the other 22 survivors in a yearly competition as a reminder to never fight each other again and have to go through these tough times that DayZ represents ? Some people might like it I suppose.

It's not something that normally happens. There was a bug a while back where sometimes on a server restart the tents and vehicles script did not load correctly. But at the next restart everything was back to normal. Most good servers do a restart at least once every 24 hours. Some restart 3-4 times a day. You could be also talking about a HIVE reset ? It very rarely happens, and if it does, it's only on Private Hive Servers.

Depending on how long you were away, Private hives are all the rage now. Pro's - Way less hackers, regular faces, get to know people and form a community, no ghosting, no server hopping. Have been on DayZ Bliss Namalsk #1 (v1.7.2.6/build 96584) [Regular|3DP:ON|CH:ON[GMT-1] - Bliss 95.96.133.32:2302 Spawned a couple of km away from a mil base. Found some broken NVG's lol All looking good so far. Was abit shocked to find a 5.56 ammo box with 10x Stanag SD mags in it !
