God I wish dayz was never put on steam, the amount of nasally, foul mouthed,shoot bambies on sight 14-17 year olds that has infested this game(and the mod before this) is sickening. Something needs to be done with the game that will make them flee and never return, nothing turns me off more than spawning in elektro, and getting shot in the first house I enter while hearing some nasally 15 year old yell annoying crap over direct. Eh, or I'll just wait for star citizen.

The place I grew up in, I stopped being a kid at age 12 lol. Talking to people alot of kids do today would get your ass beat good. Besides that, I really don't mid some 12 year old kid playing dayz, but when it comes to where 3/5 people you meet on a server sound like they are 12-17 years old, I start enjoying the game less. While there may be some of them who are mature and play in the spirit of dayz, the majority of them aren't and scream in their mics usually about fucking your mother or you being a faggot.

as I've said to you and 3 other people in this thread, have you even read ANY other post in this thread in this thread besides the first one? Probably not. If you did, you would see that moaning about being KOS'd or campers is not even what I'm complaining about.

Lol those first few days when SA came out were gold, darkness everywhere, dozens of fresh spawns navigating through elektro with flashlights. ahh :D

He means all of the populated ones, go ahead and search for a night time server that has at least 25 people in it. I actually enjoy the night cycle/darkness, but I haven't been able to find a consistently populated server with a decent night cycle. They all seem to go up to about 15:00-16:00 hours and then restart, lame. Aside from that, I say yes to NV(as long as it's VERY rare to find) and no to IR.

If we look deeper, we can see we have a psuedo-intellectual who over analyzes things and finds unrelated meaning to video game forum diatribes. Along with his natural instinct to make condescending remarks that have no relevance, his poor reading comprehension and inability to think critically prevents him from reading past the first post, btw bud, I've played dayz since june 2012 and SA since release, but go ahead and assume what you will.

I'm not saying I don't mind a few kids playing, as long as you're somewhat mature. But when the game becomes filled with them, thats when I take a break and either find something new to play, or wait until they've gone to the next fotm.

Nah, I'm just a grown man and would rather play a mature game geared toward and populated with MOSTLY mature adults. But thanks to youtube, steam, and other shit popularizing dayz as a whole, we get to play with a bunch of xbox live transplants screaming over their mics and ruining the atmosphere and immersion.

I really don't care about being killed, it's the fact that this game is becoming populated with these children and what they take away from the experience of playing this game. I'll probably wait for beta, and only play on 1st person servers with a hefty night cycle, the kids will always stick to the casual stuff.

Please for the love of god fix the random reloading sounds, the zombies that aren't there, and the player eating sound when absolutely noone is around. Theres nothing like trying to fill a bottle with some water from a creek and hearing a zombie that sounds right behind you but it isn't there, because you're in the middle of nowhere.

I agree with the shotgun and magnum. for pure stopping power. But I don't like carrying the mosin, when the game matures and we have a solid amount of guns to choose from those types of rifles will be a death sentence I think. might as well get good with the M4, im sure the sure that you can silence it will come in handy in the future.

Thats rare then, I enjoy surviving. But part of the survival part is having something to defend yourself with, no defense=death in a zombie apocalypse. Even in real life if someone wanted to take my livelihood away from me in a zombie apocolypse(my gun, my food, etc..) I'd rather die and destroy everything I owned than be robbed and left for dead. So theres a valid reason behind what I do

You'll be the first one on the forums crying and "hating"(who says that word anymore? What are you 15?) when the zombies are wrecking you left and right because of "your playstyle" and you're getting diseases you can't simply cure with anti biotics. And then you'll quit because it's "2 HARD 2 play NOW : (((" and go back to whatever steaming pile you played before this. Have you even been watching the SA dev blog videos? You're fucked buddy lol.

That guy was a noob, you guys got extremely lucky. I would have zig zagged, taking advantage of the games poor netcode, while you or your friend shot at me and hit me a few times. While I bled out, I would have amassed the biggest amount of zombies I could around me while shooting off all remaining rounds of my winchester then died in that pile of zombies just to spite you guys lol. Thats what I do to people who try and steal my shit, I either destroy it, or make it nearly impossible for them to get it from my cold dead body. and then I kill myself until I get the closest spawn to where I died and then hunt you until your both dead, GG. All while, laughing my ass off at you in direct chat as you desperately try and chase me down. Done this MANY times people to try and "hold me up", it's quite satisfying :D.
