I got these things from other players, did not loot a single thing outside of electro before I got the items. Everybody having the best shit=bad game in the long run, theres no sense of progression.

I fully realize that, have from the start. I just wasn't aware there wasn't much to do besides PvP, and in result of TONS hacked items in the game the quality of the PvP is getting noticeably worse

I don't know if you know, but Dayz is a breeding ground/training camp for pyschos

i know what you meant, and agree fully. I watch videos from may/june and the quality of gameplay just seems so much better

Um after playing sparingly, and alone mostly, I'd say I did decent. Either way it wasnt the challenge I expected

Agreed, I've been playing this game for 2 weeks and I'm already fully geared out with an AWS, DMR, GPS and all the good stuff. My only enjoyment I get out of this game now is PvP'ing with friends.

No, it would be different if he was fighting a guy, server hopped, came up behind him and killed him. but this guys just using game mechanics to his advantage

another delusional player who thinks he actually is in a zombie apocolypse, news flash dumbshit, if the developers have big plans to further this mod or release a standalone they need to make this game more user friendly, any potential players will be pissed off if they get a spawn next to 6 zombies and they have nothing to defend themselves with.

I think the real question iswhy the fuck do you care if a brand new player to the game has a melee weapon so he doesn't die right as he spawns? Does it peev you're delusional wanna-be zombie survivalist shut-in mindset to see that new players get even a tiny bit of help? do you just like to see people struggle? I've got about 2k blood left and not that decent of items(a winchester and a makarov) so I'm probably going to just go let a zombie get kill me and respawn, any other new players or recently killed want to partner up and travel together?

Agreed, the learning curve is steep in this game and if they wanna keep attracting new players, they need to at least give them a pistol at start lol. I know all the mouthbreathing shut-ins would scream 'ITS NOT REAL L2 SURVIVE NOOB' but then again they're not trying to expand this games playerbase either.

Is it server dependant or something? I mean at times I can crouch walk right past them, the next i'm running in a field and one from 200 feet away some zed sees me.

Thats honestly not surprising if you're not raiding elektro/cherno right away, taveling inland is safer , but less loot until you get to stary.

I've got a about 6 hours under my belt and I've found lots of weapons, I just can't find a fucking compass to save my life!

Just started playing yesterday and I'm finally starting to somewhat get the hang of it, I've got a winchester and a sidearm heading up to Novy Sobor for a supply run. I'm not much into the whole huge group idea, but I wouldn't mind someone I can loot and travel with, the protection would be nice and we have the ability to perform blood transfusions on each other.
