    Had this happen a couple of times the other day, got some gear went from bandit skin to normal skin backpack disappears, get new back pack. Kill a player who shot at me first get bandit skin again back pack disappears. Seems as if the only safe way to keep your gear is to just put a guille on that way everyone will just shoot at you instead of some of the people some of the time.

    Thats fine i see no harm in giving people a pve option, but if you are going to pve. Stay there,i do not want to have people who go to pve servers get geared out then move to pvp servers having never risked thier necks a an air field or major city for the gear they have.
