Same here, happened to a friend a couple of hours ago. I had this problem back in 1.7.2.3 when my rifle and my backpack suddenly were gone after relogging on a new server, so I don't think it an entirely new bug, but just something that happens more often now.

Any reason why you're not updating? Downloading 130MB doesn't take long, and if you have questions about where to put that stuff or what to consider there's a whole forum full of answers and people who can help. It might just ease things for your as the majority of all servers is likely at 1.7.2.5 by now, so finding a match will get more difficult with every hour.

Well, thats definitely a weird situation, but not too uncommon I'd say, especially for the southern coast. But yeah, sometimes you have few people on the server, and still encounter all of them. Me and a friend were once on a night-time server with 5 players altogether, and we managed to meet them in the wilderness around Old Fields when they drove by us in a jeep...

Hey guys, All players of US 1703 have just been teleported to the airfield and killed by a bunch of players. The only onles alive when we died were: guy fun [HVK] Keudn Maybe the admin can get something out of the log files, I dunno. We had a pretty good time fightung around stary, but the teleport ended all of that.

Well, I asked if anyone made screenshots or something, but apparently not. Those two names are the only indicator we got, the killing was really. I realize that it likely isn't enough to warrant a ban or anything, but thats all we got after that... IIRC, one of us met one hacker beforehand and tried to shoot him, which caused some of those "CEASE FIRE" system messages, but I could be wrong about which server that happened on. Sorry its all very vague.

Make sure you haven't make any mistakes when replacing the new 1.7.2.5 files, check your Arma2 again, and if all fails download the latest BattleEye *.dll manually. If it doesn't work after that, I'll give you my Mountain Dew.

U mad bro? You do realize that Rocket and team can do like nothing at all about the Arma2 engine's flaws? This is a mod, not a complete rework of the game. If you need to spread your ignorant hate, do it at BI's forums, but better just stop it alltogether. Its not like there aren't millions of reviews and "Lets Play" to show you all aspects of DayZ beforehand for free...

Well, thats not an entirely new trick, is it? The 'flush' command is well known, a quick board search will show you that. But to be constructive, if flush doesn't work (because it doesn't do that 100%), the old Vsync on/off trick also still helps.

Yeah, just throw it away. I just learned of a clan (admin included) who have a tent full uf shit they looted from dead hackers on their server, so disgusting. I don't mind being shot in the face by a legit sniper, but if you have M4's with thermal scopes and rocket launchers from Arma2 against some poor guy with a Winchester this becomes ridiculous.

Well, it seems to keep track about your deeds over several lifes, because I respawned yesterday with 14380 humanity but 0 bandit kills. Killing zombies givees your humanity, helping people does it as well. I met a guy who claimed to have like -30k humanity, if thats even possible.

A couple of nights ago I listened to Deadmou5 while scouting the entire map for chrashed helicopters. It was night, pitch black, and heavy rain for at least an hour. The experience was really bizarre, because I couldn't hear a damn thing most of the time. So two hackers have fun teleporting close to players and kill them. Server was low-population, it was only two other guys on the server with me and my friends, so it has to be them. They ambushed us at the beach, and at first it seemed like their kills were legit, but they appeared close to us after that. Names are: Harry Butter KaninchenLiebe

Thanks to J.C. for trying to rescue me, even though we were beaten by technology when his connection got so bad we could find a common server. The chances of that operation to work were already slim to begin with, but at least we had a nice conversation.
