How to properly set up Arma RAMdisk - What files go in?
snowsky replied to Nightmare_Pwner's topic in New Player Discussion
If you use mklink, you won't need to change anything else for gamestart from what I see. But if you do updates, you should change the names from the symlink and the original folder, because otherwise, the Updates would stay on the Ramdisk - which is clean after reboot. And after an update you would have to update the data on ramdisk too and change the symlinks name again -
Hehe - something like that happened to me long time ago too. I was really very super ultra happy about my new torchlight at night. I was running through the forest, down the forestglade into the grassland. I was searching for the polarstar so that I keep my heading. I watch up and up, and at a point, the torchlight was coming out of the dark part on the screen made by the forrest in the background - and once I noticed the silhouete I got shocked because it was looking like a z-face very very close to me ^^

Two thoughts: If database is compatible with both versions: Spread the update to the Servers which update groupwise Meaning, the first 5 servers do an update, after some time the next 5 do update. In the meanwhile, spread the update for clients by a low bandwith Server. Because of the slow speed, there aren't this many people at a time who can rush the updated servers, and the other servers are still accessible. And so it would slowly migrate. Oh and while only a few Servers got the update, I bet, people would play with old version because they think they won't get a place. Once OldServer/NewServer is at 50/50, the rest will download the update too. If the database is not compatible with both versions, there'd be no other choice, update master server and Game servers, but still spread the update for clients slow. I think everything else would be more work then worth, but perhaps and most surely - I didn't even get the point :P - *running away searching for cover* By the way, if it won't be possible to play - Nobody gets killed by not playing for some time :). My two lousy cents :)

Yeah I'd wish some small changes there too, as no friends of mine are playing, and I do not trust other ppl (if u are well equipped and cleared the streets with others, they will hunt u afterwards), I'm almost always playing as a lone wolf. But since the last changes (more and faster spawning zombies), as a new created character you have no chance on your own. Tried it so many times to invade a small town - I was sneaking, shot only if I had too, but at the end I didn't find enough valuable things and was out of ammo. The intention was good, forcing players to play together, but as I can't trust nobody (even less once you can't see if his humanity is bad). Would it be possible that Zombiegeneration depends more on the amount of players in a location? So lone wolfs would have a chance and teams would get more cannon food? or is it just me playing as lone wolf and leaving towns when there are others too?

Hi, I'm not sure as I never had problem with CO (I have ArmA 2 and OA in same folder so it seems to be automatically CO with the oa.exe), but it sounds as your game won't start as CO (and that for the deleted.chernarus message, and the "requires addon cabuildingparts). When you are in the game main menu, do you see there A2 and A2OA Symbols on the left bottom corner? if u see only the A2OA would have found the problem, but I don't know how merging A2OA Steam with A 2 free. bye + good luck
