A bunch of us decided that we've reached our threshold for hacking on the public servers so we created a PRIVATE-HIVE server and made is PASSWORD-PROTECTED. How do I join the server? In order to join the server you will need to fill out our very short application (It is less than 5 questions and takes less than a minute to complete). We were driving around tonight and found a bicycle. We couldn't really pick it up because we were heading somewhere in a hurry. It would be sweet as hell if we would be able to mount bikes to the back of cars like we see in the real world. Just a suggestion.

I was thinking you could even create the bike rack using savaged metal. Bike would just sit on the back of any vehicle like you see driving down the road on any given day.

There are a few of us who have just sort of reached our threshold with the hackers and such so we are going to be starting our own server. It will be a private hive server and will also be password protected as well. We are looking for enough people that would be interested and possibly willing to kick in a few bucks for the hosting so it is more of a shared effort. I have been playing for about three months now and I am looking for a group of people like this to play with. I do have a bandit skin but it was because I was trying to mercy kill my buddy when he was glitched. I think I am just barely a bandit at the moment.

So yesterday I came home from work and logged in to DayZ. I got a message saying I was globally banned. I've never hacked or anything like that so I filled out a support ticket with Bohemia--no big deal. Later last night I tried to log in and I was fine. I was able to play. I only stayed in for about 5 minutes since I just wanted to check. Today I came home from work and actually intended to play and now I am globally banned again. Has anyone has this happen to them? This is quite strange.

I will preface this by saying screw you to the numerous people whom are likely to write "QQ", "Host your own server" and all those other nonsensical bullshit replies. You suck and you don't help. Why is this mod set up to totally screw everone? Players are forced to play on public servers which are hosted by generous people. Those generous people have to deal with hackers in some of the most arcane ways I have ever seen. When players get fucked with the server admins have no way at all to remedy the situation. I have been teleported to the NW airfield and blown up about 50+ at this point and if an admin were able to even say sorry, give me an ALICE Pack and a Makarok I think I wouldn't have been even the least bit upset, but they can't do that. The hacking has become such an issue that the community itself has had to create a silly community ban list. That should tell you right there that these people need more power as admins of thir own server--doesn't it? Obviously there will be bad admins who abuse this power, but we've got some bad admins right now so what really changes here? I have hosted a few servers for CS and Minecraft. I would love to host one for DayZ, but the only thing that keeps me from doing so is the lack of control I have over moderating the server itself. This mod is so much fun, but right now everyone--except hackers--get completely screwed. What you are saying is pointless because the situation at hand in the game would be equal to there being rampant crime and people stepping up to combat it whic WOULD happen.
