If we're talking choppers, the blackhawk is good, and any civ chopper is also a great idea (maybe have them have a high spawn rate as they are unarmed?) but i think the chinook is a bit overboard as it would be able to fit every person in a server into it and in general is kinda large for the post- apyc feel. Although maybe add in some chinook or c-130 crash sites for large scale high grade loot. back to point, best chopper ideas are civs, blackhawk, littlebird (not the armed one) and possible some modified hinds where the params are set so that it has no weapon ammo, or like 2 rockets left making them extreamly valuable.

who says you have to put engine parts in your pack, just keep em in inv

Not too sure if this has been posted before (if so plz link), but why not make the back packs work like they do in the ACE mod where backpacks can hold so much weight and just use weight values as opposed to the whole slot system while items are stored inside it.
