Low population servers are actually more dangerous than high population servers Simply because everyone is thinking "oh a low pop server' date=' might take a trip to NWAF" In a 50 player server you might encounter 1 or 2 of them going to the NWAF In a 8 player server you can be sure that atleast 5 of them are traveling to the NWAF The only exception is a low pop server with night time If you are good at navigating through silhouttes, that's your best chance [/quote'] You are absolutely right about it. Yesterday I killed two survivors at north barracks of NWAF and was killed by zombies after that (did a huge mistake :)) with population on server about 10 (it was a self-defence, BTW). But still, low population servers have much lower number of jerks and deliberate player killers with sniper rifles than full servers. :)

Play on low population servers. Problem solved.

Fell down from NEAF control tower having an MK48 and 3 full belts for it.

Ideal for long-range player killing. So my answer is NO.

Knowing ArmA 2, I always treat my character as 70-years old with osteoporosis, so to date I never died to any ladder or smal bump in the terrain. :)

OMG, is it difficult to always have two cans of beans and two water items before you disconnecting? Of all hurdles of the game this was the easiest to solve for me. -

Did it again and got an average of 208 over 5 clicks. Then everything is Ok in this regard. :) BTW, who usually shoot first when you meet other players? You or them? -
After I realized that I need only 3 hours to gather all the equipment which is needed for my play style - I stopped caring about dying in this game. And these 3 hours are not a chore - in fact it is very refreshing to play without big guns and loads of ammo, carefully planning every step and trying to out-smart zeds and players. However, every time I dye I regret a little about zombie kill counter being reset to zero.

In order to rule out that you are slow and clumsy try to pass this test: http://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime/reaction.swf If you are hitting 200 on average - then you are good to kill almost anybody you meet. :) (BTW, while using windows 7 you can try to disable Aero, cause it adds significant input lag - for my system it is close to 50 milliseconds) Alright. I'll consider it once I am able to connect to servers again. Although, the volume of it terrifies me... Be prepared to fight a horde of zeds every time you use it - so always keep in mind an exit strategy. But this drawback is compensated greatly by its ability to put down a player in one hit. :) -

Ok, those who play DayZ for more then 10 minutes know that there are icons on the right of the hud to show the noise you are making and your visibility. So right now I have a question - are this icons displaying your visibility for both zeds and fellow players, or they only work for zeds? In other words, is the distance, from which player can see me is different when I'm standing up, crouching or crawling? Or it will stay the same, limited only by server visibility settings?

Yes we do. :) And alcohol can have its uses - for example it can treat battle shock instantly. Edit: Also idea from russian forum - it also can lower pain threshold, making you more immune to losing consciesness after the heavy bullet hit you. Edit 2: Also it can somewhat desinfect wounds, and being used as pain releife drug, instead of painkillers.

Yes, I agree, if we would have in-game communication means done better than right now, then we would have more cooperation moments. But why cooperate if I can survive on my own? And from economical point of view it is more beneficial to be lone wolf right now, cause you can survive alone almost in every situation and you don't have to share loot with other group members. -
