Sounds like a pretty sweet idea. Like that it promotes a good 'cause' and brings drama and bandit allure to the area...as someone else mentioned, some purpose. But...from that posted video, seems the 3 were following protocol and was shot at the gate, I didnt see that addressed.

Consider it street justice! Actually surprised more of this doesn't go on, unless my newness to the forums is leading to me not seeing it often. Had a situation where some admins knew I looted their tents. Took some stuff, placed my old stuff [not completely crap] into their tents. Got a global 'so and so wants to kick me' message, but nothing more. Found a tent at a spawn, went back, pitched it and filled it up with most of what I took from them, bar the as50 =). The story is neither here nor there, but just goes to show some admins that are legit aren't going to have to deal with having their camp raped by the masses on a daily basis.

Came across a few tents on a 2.5 server, rummaged through. Logged in the next day, looked again, same stuff with some new items added. Got me....

Not bad, but the most interesting option, track, wasn't showcased.

No idea, but I have not had an issue since switching from Six Launcher to Dayz Commander and running the updates [amra2, dayz] through commander. .24, .25 servers....no more stuck at loading, no more having to ctrl-alt-del the process and spawning on the shore after I finally get into a server.

Both hit like trucks, but would ebb towards the m14 for the aim point. Oh yeah..as the other poster said, ammo! DMR mags are dime a dozen.

You can shake them easy enough, if you keep running, they will sprint up on you from pretty far away, but will stay on your heels, not hitting you. They are line of sight aggro, mostly, so if you fine some thick brush/trees, zig and then zag. Have even broken line of sight from a few simple trees, skirting the trunk and moving over slightly to break LOS. Once it's broken, you can prone as they might pick it up again if you keep running and you think you are in the clear. Hold ALT and look behind you as well to see LOS. Can also run into a building, Zeds can't run inside, only walk. First day is pretty tough when you start, after you get the hang of the Zeds aggro range, they are easy to get around....with some crawling/crouch-walking. I tried to tough it out without the dayz db map the first few days...died a few times of freezing starvation in the woods too many times until I broke down. Tree stands/barns are your best bet, and if you hit up chern/electro for med supplies, get in and get out or expect to be shot up.

Logged for a few hours, and its gone. Server restarts reset bicycles?

Go up a treestand, see the standard 3 Zeds spawn. Check, run away, check map a bit, now I look back and see 6 spawned. That automatically mean someone else is within 300yrds of the stand as well? Or do more spawn because I was hanging around it for a few min?

How long do map markings stay on a server? Until the person logs?

Bummer....my A107 also disappeared from my pack.

Just lost my camo suit too. Dropped Civy clothes, ran around all morn, on a few different servers and just logged on now, back in my civvies.
