At a guess I'd say he was rather busy making the game fella. While I would like a blog, we all want the game asap. Dev blogs, no matter how small, inevitably take time to make, time that could be better spent on the Standalone.

Asked a guy in the hospital in Electro to not shoot me and kill the zeds chasing me, he very kindly obliged. Meanwhile I pushed my Makarov to the back of his head and killed him. Well, it was a nice AK and Alice pack he had. :P He raged soooo hard on side chat after...

Thus is some crazy arsed server, loving the Jets and Ospreys.

Runs off to check it out, hopes it shows ALL the map right up to 000-000 :) FAIL... :(

I miss the days when everyone didn't moan about about the good ol' days of old.

I like to have fun with them, breaking their legs and watch them crawl but then I liked pulling the legs off of daddy long legs when i was a kid. :)

Taking off in a huey after refueling at Skalka, with four "fully kitted up mates", then thinking I was in auto hover whilst I set my next marker in the map. Only to hear their screams as we slowly drifted into the hillside to the east, by the time I realised and after the slow "receiving" exit of the map, it was to late to pull out of it. They all died whilst Battle eye kicked me for an explosives script restriction. This duck up compounded by me trying to stick everything in Thomas the tractor before the server restarted yet giving my mates body a premature burial before I got his bag and M107.... Doh!

Instead of a separate button, why not just have the gun as lowered, as in how it's animated, until you aim down the sights? Keeps things simple, I've enough keys to think about as it is, lol.

Mental, It just so happens i'm looking for "stewiesboys" to make some movies with. Must be adventurous , like baby oil and having sexy time with food.... Oh, not that kind of video, Oops... :blush:

This is just a glitch, either change to a new weapon, axe or press F. One should work, oh silly question but you do actually have a gun right?

Run Arma 2 and OA at least one until the menu screen, download DayZcommander and install the latest Arma beta patch and DayZ mod. Fingers crossed and Bobs ya uncle you should be good to go. For vanilla DayZ you don't need the British Forces lite as far as im aware. :)

I don't think it's a case of meaning to mislead us, more the transition from mod to full blown game. They seem to want to pack more and more into it and the minecraft model seems to have gone, for now. I think when they say "alpha" it's really just a way of covering themselves when stuff don't work, let's face it it will have a lot of bugs. While I want it as much as the next guy, we've got no choice but to be patient. Hopefully, the long wait will be worth it, only time will tell.

June is just a review of the situation, could be a while after that before we play. Then you have to take pot luck with getting an Alpha key. Wasn't the news I was waiting for this weekend, that's for sure. Ho hum.... :(

Being a bandit is fun, video game death is cheap (even in a perma death one like DayZ). I'd like to think, at the end of the world, humanity would prevail and we would help, rather than kill our fellow human beings. :)

It was funny at first but Frankie made it sound soooo patronising in the end.

To me, it's the blend of GTA style open world with survival elements that's become the most original fps I've ever played. CoD, don't think so. When was the last time in CoD you had to run 7km just to get revenge on the guy who killed you and stole your kit, it was last night for me :P I think the true charm of DayZ is that it's the game you make it and not the game your told how to play. :)

New Dev blog this weekend would be nice. :)

Whilst not unique it's always always a big plus to kill someone with their own gun :)
