First time in played I got lost in the wood and died of thirst lol.

I've crawled into a building and was like wft, my leg just snapped. Shit happens, lots in DayZ.

Then while climbing a "metal" deer stand the animation doesn't complete climbing up and I fall and break my flipping leg. *groan* Anyway, I'm on server UK120 a hundred yards East of the stand, which is East of Drozhino. It's on the maps you can find on the net. I've drink, meat and other bits and bobs. No gun, just an axe. Will trust someone to swap all I have for some morphine to fix my leg. Currently passed our at the edge of the tree line. Any kind souls out there? Or shall I crawl to the nearest zed and suicide?

Hey... Now after struggling to actually get Dayz to run and getting lost in the woods and dying of thirst within yards of, what looked like a farm I'm now on my second attempt to survive. However I've found a Markov pistol and three clips of ammo but it's in my hand but won't fire. It's like it's not there as I can't aim down the iron sights or have the ammo/clips counter in the top right hand corner. I've loaded into different servers with no joy, is this me being a noob or some bug in the game?

It cuts both ways... Last night I saw a guy in the distance taking pot shots off a roof. I typed into chat that I needed supplies but he never answered. A few minutes later, there he is running at me in the house with an axe, and a zombie face. I said I was unarmed and without saying a word he came towards me, while I feared the worst. However he chopped up a few zombies and dropped a loads of supplies for me. Then lit a flare and crawled off into the distance, the last I saw of him was a zombie attacking the smoke plume in the grass. Never did know who he was, lol :)

Yeah I'm pretty sure its the right mags, lol. Surely I should still be able to aim down the sights with or without ammo? I will try dropping it again tonight but that didn't work yesterday.
