I hope the new inventory system works better than the Arma 3 one its ripped from, you still can't pick up ammo from a car etc. Loooking good though. :)

A few servers, Dayz forever Epoch, allow you to use this sound mod, sounds a whole lot better than the original Arma sounds. Any chance of having it in the standalone. For anyone interested in trying it, check your server allows it, you can get it with Playwithsix.

There's loads and loads maps/mods, Epoch and Breaking Point (loot system broken at the mo', lol) are my favorites presently.

I can't say I've experienced any frame probs yet with JSRS enabled, also if you want to play other servers just unenable it in the Arma 2 menus. Changing the audio setting to 128 is also supposed to help with bugs and glitches. Easiest way to install is with Playwithsix, which is better than DayZcommander but the UI is not as simple to use BUT if I can anyone can :)

It happens on certain servers that need a restart, try a different server or wait for the restart. They should be restarted about every six hours.

We've run two of these events, one at Rog and another on Taviana. They are god fun buts it's incredibly difficult to attack the castles. We found a repair the heli, in teams of four to five was more interesting but feel free to check out MrDazTroyer on YouTube to see how it went :)

I've taken 2-3weeks to "almost" complete Crysis 3 because i'm never off DayZ and gave up on Far Cry 3. I've got Metro2033, Metro lastlight (free with new card :P ) and BF2 for Project Reality sat here unopened and waiting to play. Even on the dull days and there are many in DayZ, i still find myself playing it and nothing else. :huh:

I play for the unique pvp side of things, as do most of the guys I know. Yes we have to loot like the rest of us but it's the sport of hunting that gets the blood pumping. We play on Epoch or MoK Taviana and most folk are pretty well equipped so are fair game imo, even a new spawn with beans are useful at times. I do take pity on some poor souls, even patching them up after I've shot them but generally I like being a bandit. Without us and others hunting me, DayZ would be a dull game imho. Imagine running around Cherno with everyone being nice, Ewwwww. I'd rather be scared of the sniper picking off new spawns than nothing at all, the buzz for me is the hunt or surviving being hunted.

It's good fun with plenty of clan vs clan action, although us old farts are more a loose collection of idiots. :)

I've been lucky enough to buy a 680 to replace my 560ti 448 OC. However while my 560 used to get 60+ fps with most settings on high, 90 in a field, my 680 only ever gets 50 but averages 40fps. I keep AA and post processing off. Now its a bit better in cherno than the 560, doesn't drop below 25 usually but the 680 smashed the 560 in benchmarks and Crysis 3 etc, so why so poor in DayZ?? :huh:

For your information the rig is... i5 3450 Asus H77 mobo with pci e 3.0 8gb 1600mhz corsair ram Standard 7200rpm hdd.
