If using Skype does the in game chat work as well, in case you wanted to say "friendly"?

Scrap that, I was on a server last night and found a huge weapon dump in the middle of a field. Every weapon in the game and quite a few that aren't. May go back and pinch the satchel charges and blow it sky high. Didn't take anything! :)

I logged off in a church one night, logged back on the next day and the entrance had been blocked with barbed wire... Doh!

L85A + M107. M107 didn't have any rounds and I didn't know the L85A had a thermal scope, just thought it was NV only. One bad spawn in Cherno and I lost the lot. Never even fired them, let alone in anger. Lol

You actually wait that long? I Control- Alt - Delete after 3-4 Mins and look for another server. I have no patients lol :)

Not broken but if I use the debug monitor the icons for health or food etc stay bright green even if I'm thirsty etc? Looks like you can use either or but not both, problem is blood loss as the icon isn't accurate. I nearly died twice, once with the debug, didn't notice I was thirsty and was losing blood as all the icons were green. Then once without, zed attacked me and I passed out because I had way less blood than I thought, it's far from perfect now.

As Skype, at least until folk get used to each other, is a bit weird when cold calling how about a shout-box? You can pop in, give you name, say hi and say what server you are on. Folk then then can see who's online and where etc. I'm sure there are better ones than this but its a start? http://dayzfogeys.freeshoutbox.net/ This could be added to a simple free web site, maybe get a group going. NOT A CLAN, I'm to old for that rubbish... Anyway as always, only an idea. Don't mean to hijack your thread Sula. :|

Your not the only one! Calling someone you don't know is without doubt VERY ODD.

This is why i gave up playing Gears 3 on WGL gaming league, that and folk cheating using modded pads but hey thats another story.

I still play on greyed out servers, it just means your Dayz or beta patch don't match the servers. You can always down grade with DayZcommander.

I don't think it's that there are to many 50cal snipers, it's more that so many hack or dupe the weapons that there are more in the game than intended. The standalone should fix that and ammo for them should be extremely rare imo.

Played the first couple missions, rather like it but it is very clunky. Hate the voices, they drive me mad. The main reason I haven't played more is that it would be so much better in Co op, like Dragon Rising was on the 360. However I haven't found anyone who wants to play it yet.
