Social Engineering and DayZ!

Back in the days of 'Survivor vs Bandit' - I turned into a bandit after several instances of self-defence against survivors. Needless to say, I embraced being a bandit for a few days and lulled one chap into a sense of security - without showing my true colours for about an hour or so. Just so happens we met one of his pals, who was armed with an AK. At this point, I decided it was crunch time, proceeded to unload some rounds here and there, and obtain said AK. Social engineering works, but it's really horrible at the same time. I'm now a Samaritan. -
This game is incredible. That will always overcome the rubbish moments where someone has hacked in and ruined a game. Bear in mind, half the fun is when you die, you start all over again. It's inevitable!

Bugs: - Zombies attacking through walls prevented. - Zombie zig-zagging removed. - Desync issue resolution. I'd personally be stoked if they made it standalone (so long as the forums still had a degree of involvement like the suggestions for features, and such) It'd allow the game to progress a lot faster and further than it would be at the moment as a mod/side-project, and it'd allow people to show their true gratuity for the game by actually paying for it. -

Did a search to see if this had been previously suggested, couldn't find anything - so apologies if this is a recycled idea. DayZ is mindblowing - turning a corner to find a zombie staring you in the face is such a rush.. the only issue being that it typically takes one round to take them down (depending on what weapon you're rocking) My suggestion is to implement various zombie types with various health levels. It would require everyone to plan more thoroughly, or contemplate scav'ing for better weaponary before attempting one of their own objectives. They'd be identifiable through different skins, and the harder ones would be rarer to come across - but when you did... oh boy!

Surely you'd be selecting the location from a map, meaning you'd have a bearing of where to go, which would subtract from the fun of not having a clue where you are and having to use your brain to find out where you are/where to go. Whilst I can sympathise for the stupid amount of time you do spend running around trying to rendezvous, I think it would be something that could ruin it a little.

If anything, it's going to make the game stupidly more interesting. No more of this shoot-on-sight faggotry against characters who have killed in self-defence, let alone the increase in sheer suspision of a distant character.

Additional bump. As a survivor who only plays in '3rdView: Off' servers, I'd love to be able to sweep a building properly without the unnessecarry bullet-to-the-temple risk everytime I need to pass through a doorframe. Would it conflict with DayZ in any way if @STMovement was enabled?

Hi all, So I've been trying to log onto EU12 all night - it's letting me in once in a while, but most of the time it will connect me to the server fine, let me choose a slot but when at Recieving Data screen, it will hit about 80% and freeze? Bit strange, but I've never encountered this before. Would anyone be able to confirm if this is a local issue or a DayZ problem?
