I don't understand, myself, why there is suddenly a public smear-campaign against the BSM server, when it's strictly an issue that is between Panda and the BSM Gaming Community. This has nothing to do with Trojan, or any of the senior BSM guys, giving Panda an ultimatum of his UK#10 server or the BSM Community; it's strictly to do with his Admin responsibility, as far as I know. I regular on the BSM server, and jump on TS whenever I play. The community is comprised of a stellar group of people, who actively administrate the server to deal with hacking as quickly as possible, offer help to nearly every single person on there, and actively look for ways to improve the gameplay, both in terms of server performance and additional scripting. Hence, why I say... All the slander that these UK#10 enthusiasts have drivvled in here is just null and void, outrightly... Not that the above comes across as the most rational of arguements.

Tool up, son. If you're not gonna transfuse/bandage your way there, you're gonna have to kill a load of zombies...

I assume you're that Trigger chap? Everything you've said is false. I've a bandit skin at the moment, and no-one I met after spawning in Byelov shot at me at all. Hell, most of them just jumped on Direct Chat and were pretty cool. Apart from the one guy who wanted to sell me drugs then started throwing empty Jack bottles at me, but he was clearly a strange case...

I'm afraid not! You can't be a mass murdering b*stard in one life, die, and then be a saviour (well you can, but your humanity won't reflect it!) If you've got -15,000 humanity in one life and die, and then decide you wanna be a hero, then you've a lot of humanity gaining to do to get it back to 0, let alone to the Hero threshold!

I'm pretty sure the BSM community is originally UK based so I'm assuming their servers are too. Get good pings on there, anyway! :thumbsup: :) Hope to see you on there man! May jump on for an hour or two tonight!

It helps if you connect to servers that are based near you (in terms of country location of the server) as otherwise it can mean your ping will be in the 100's. Do you know what internet connection speed you have? Also, ping dictates a lot, but frame rate it does not! Personally, I'd say you'd want around 25-30 frames per second to make this game enjoyable, and that comes down to the Computer spec you're running on. Something else to consider! And finally, just because the rare loot spawns in the airfield doesn't mean it will definitely be there. That's a complete contradiction of probability. Maybe someone beat you to the loot, maybe you just had bad luck and it spawned some typical items!

Even though, it does make it a lot more fun for banditry >:) I was thinking, seeing as you guys seem to have awesome coders, maybe see if there's a way to make high-quality loot spawn onto the oil rigs, as well as zombies? Could make it a little more interesting/those who have repaired choppers can have it done for a reason, etc... Just a suggestion!

I'd recommend www.eharmony.com or www.match.com However, if you're referring to the other form of partner, I'd recommend getting onto a Private Hive - you'll find there are a lot more regular players there, and you can find either people to team up with permentantly, or people just to tag along with for scavanging runs. I play on the British Sergeants Mess server - they're very friendly over there and are more than happy to help you get a decent start by donating some gear. I'd recommend checking it out!

Just wanted to say that I had a fantastic day on Saturday trying out some banditry on the server. Proper good laugh with some solid guys. Saw some horrible desync and lag spikes too, but hopefully the additional core to the DayZ server will straighten all that out though!

i just can't wait to see what madness ensues the second a single round is let off. Someone will probably be watching from a-far, let off a round, and film everyone's paranoia resulting in mass murders. Infact, that gives me an idea....

So, I've not been able to play in a while and whilst getting really hyped on loading Taviana into DayZ Commander, I'm finding updating to 2.0 to be a pain in the ass. Imagine my face when I come on DayZComm to usually find 5/50 people, to find 33/50. Mental.

If I've got a basecamp set up, I usually carry on my missions for supplies... Automatic rifle with 5 magazines, and one hand grenade (if I'm that lucky!) Sniper rifle in my backpack with 2 magazines. Leaves a good amount of room for all the fancy new things I find on my journeys. Tin cans, for instance.. gotta love those tin cans :emptycan: :wub:
