The desktop I play runs on a Powercolor HD5600 or something ancient like that. If I can run BF4, Skyrim and the like, then you sure will be able to too. I couldn't comment on the CPU apart from the fact that if you have a little more to play with, I'd recommend getting an FX6300 and a compatible motherboard... Whilst 4.2GHz would be enough power, the model seems pretty outdated - and that could have a direct impact on the performance it delivers. The FX series of CPUs are cost effective and bang for buck!

I'd expect it's associated with your Steam ID, as the GUID for DayZ is unique for your copy of the game/character. Therefore, the GUID associated with that Steam account can only relate to one character.

Not neccesarily. It could be made by people who feel that the SA should have delivered a different level of player interaction that the Mod offered from the start. Though that hasn't really been delivered yet (as damaged loot clearly isn't enough incentive to not shoot a person), I feel that as development progresses, we'll see more solutions to the widespread KoS mentality. I find that this open letter to the DayZ Dev Team is a really good solution to the problem (note however that the author recognises zombies are not yet developed) Try to remember that KoS isn't the problem - it's the fact it's so regularly and widely employed.
