Bear in mind that NWAF is a hot killzone. A lot of people camp on any elevated ground surrounding it and just constantly scout, and then snipe. You could be dealing with hackers though; it's always possible. Join whitelisted servers to reduce the chances of playing alongside haxx0rz.

I only clicked into this thread because I thought I read something about Gary Newman in the topic. I love Gary Newman. Anyway.. 1. There is no registration process to play ArmAII. You may find that to be whitelisted on various servers, you will have to provide your GUID but this is not your CD Key. Keep that confidential, no-one should ever be told that infomation. 2. There's a whole variety of servers you can choose from - some have custom starter kits, custom features and the like. Find one that is marked as a Whitelisted server, and follow the appropriate registration process. These servers require your GUID to let you play on them, but it's a good way to get involved in a friendly community, and play without interference from hackers. Anything else, just ask!

Yeah, you're right. It does take too long to run. We should run at realistic speeds, that allow us to cover a kilometre in a minute. If you're speeding your way to towns and bored inbetween, I'd have imagined this game definitely isn't for you. You've contradicted yourself? You can't have an opinion on the processes and ordering of game development if you're not a games developer? Anything said after admitting that is sheer speculation. I did not follow the development of Diablo III. What I have been following keenly is the development of the DayZ mod, and now the Standalone. The PR has been fantastic and development has been openly discussed with all the players. I think you should probably put a bit more faith into the people who have delivered a fantastic mod thus far.
