Maybe Danny Dyer can take over Nicholas Cage's role as Matt then... If you're unaware of Danny Dyer, - as you can tell, both him and Matt are very similar - both in mannerisms and voices.

How about this, then... When you buy DayZ Standalone, it comes with a chest rig. You put the chest rig on and you sync it to your specific GUID. Once the database is alerted that your character has died, a million volts is passed through the rig (overclocked computers can up it to 1.5 million volts) and then the player dies. Will create a lot of incentive to not die. wut do u all fink?

I think that some form of note system is already being implemented into the Standalone - maybe once it's tried and tested there it will be reletively easy to port into DayZ Mod.

They sure can. I suggested car keys once upon a time and I went home with my balls in a box. I've always wondered if minor NPC involvement would be interesting, but to be fair, I think that was driven just by the lack of objectives and things to pass time in DayZ Mod. The Standalone is going to be teeming with so many features that I doubt NPC's are ever going to creep into my mind again. (figuratively, not literally)

Hint - Learn to land or hover without the use of the 'Auto-hover' function as quickly as possible. I find that it makes you a very easy target, if anyone's packing a big gun.

Impressive. I've really gotta invest in a joystick soon. Flying with a keyboard and mouse gets more on my nerves after seeing videos like this. -
It will be filmed in 5K, and released in a case with a 3D graphic of Rocket bumming that pillow from the mocap video. It will be available soley at HMV, and wrapped in silk cellophane.

Hahaha, you can't dispute that his signature is quality though. After quickly glancing over the thread topic, and registering mastication, I though this thread was going to be about choking chickens, knuckle shuffles and bashing bishops. -
I have a question regarding the Standalone, and was just wondering if anyone had seen something I hadn't regarding the subject. Basically, there's one thing in my book that stops DayZ Mod from being absolutely epic - and it's not a fault of the DayZ developers, but more a fault of the Armed Assault physics. It's when you run down a hill/down some stairs, and do the whole "launched a few metres ahead, with your survivor locked in a motionless stance as he flies forward to his inevitable broken legs" thing. It kind of worries me, because whilst the Armed Assault 3 Alpha (yes, I'm taking into account the fact it's an alpha) does seem a lot more fluid, I feel theres also something very resemblant to the physics from Armed Assault 2. Has there been any infomation provided as to how/if this issue is going to be fixed with the engine revamp? I can't help but think if this physic is left unaddressed, it's going to cause some major criticism to fall on the Standalone, not to mention limit the gameplay. Apologies if this is an 'OMFG, LEARN 2 SEARCH SCRUB' thread. To safeguard my reputation, and by means of a pre-emptive apology, I additionally attach this photo of a swagged out goat.
