Early on in the game I was on the end of some random killing even when unarmed, I guess it's one of the reasons i'm against killing other players just for the fun, having said that now I have some good gear I would not want to risk it so if I was spotted then yes I will shoot.

So the trade would be I take the suit and then soon after my head is splat all over the floor, i'll pass.

Firstly this is not a QQ thread if people want to hack a game in Alpha I couldn't care less thats the point in Alpha. One of the main reasons why I would never hack this game (and I could if i desired) is because it's a personal experience game, it creates stories and the best stories are the raw, real stories the ones were you was close to death not a situation were there was no danger because that is not a real story or experience. With hacking the stories are not found they are generated and this to me is boring. Secondly I don't kill players, so that means I have no reason to get all these guns and wepons and making myself invisable why would I. Yes there are bandits and also hackers and I am likely being hunter by several people at once and having powerfull wepons to defend myself would be useful. Having said that if I am hacking and I am hunter by a hacker it is a stalemate no one will win, if I am a hacker and I am hunter by Bandits yeah I will likely win, but I could also win if I manually got wepons for myself, and also i get more self worth that I did defend myself. I wouldn't hack because it disrespects the game and the developers, they have put so much time and effort into creating this game for me, and all that hackers do are drive away the community to other games of a similar stature (The War Z) and I would not want to do this. So yeah thats why I dont hack, I understand that hackers have several reasons themselves why they feel they need to, but the only real reason is because the can't play the game and they feel they need to cheat to get ahead. IMO Ghosting is worse than hacking.

When one player can spend days gearing up just to be accused of hacking And another can hack for gear and get respect and admiration sucks

Ever get the feeling your being watched? But also there should be a mechanic for the more murders you commit the more ... crazy you become, you have lost all ties with the real world and are now crazed. Also it would stop bandits killing newbies because there could be a kind of "wait I might lose my sixth sence ... i'll let this guy go".

These type of players are why games like ... World of Warcraft are so easy now, they cry because it's too hard and after ... 5 tries they still can't do it. This is a hard game and thats why it's a good game, I have died so many times, and I don't care, if i die then i try again everytime I die i learn more, i learn what cities are dangerous, how to out run zombies, what items i need to survive, what servers are better. And all this is why I will eventully be a decent player, right now I am average, but that doesent bother me.

Here we go; according to the poster "OP thinks it's okay to hack in alpha", I am in no way saying it's okay, it's the same if i said I couldnt care less if the terrorist bomb a building, I'm not condoing it im just saying I dont really care.You then went on to say why hacking is wrong, but if you actually read what I posted, it was why I don't hack not why hacking is a bad thing to do. But these are my reasons for why I dont hack, if i say that my experience is more important than everyone elces thats my opinion. TL;DR poster should learn to read.

Taking the post out of context I said that I, couldnt care less, this does not mean I am saying it's right or it's okay to do, all im saying is I know the game is in Alpha, thats pre beta and hacking happens, aswell as gliching and other things like that. I am in no way condoning it, if you read the rest of my post you would have understood that.

Thanks I know there is so much complaining about the silly hackers and I just feel for the reasons I posted that hacking is silly and if you hack you are a silly.

Look this is a forum and on a forum people talk I just wanted to make a thread about why I dont hack and maybe some one who was considering may read and think, actually no I wont hack, all I am trying to do is help the game, in the small way I can if that is so bad then im sorry.

Yeah I mean DayZ is a great game and is free for me the only downer was buying Arma 2 a game i'm never going to play except for DayZ however i got it for £20 and in gaming terms and how long im going to play thats pretty damn good!

Hey people newb here only been playing for a few days but every time I die I get better and better and what I want right now is the find a group of players who I can join, I find I can do a useful job in a group of players and would definately aid in the long term survival of the group. I am 18 years old and from UK so I usually play from 4PM+ GMT I am trustworthy and have never killed another player or even desired to do so, but if it was for the good of the group then I would I have skype and teamspeak and also a mic so i can talk Just reply to me on this thread we can talk and then later on meet up ingame PS if this is in the wrong section of the forum I appologise
