Ok well walking through walls is clearly a bug, but what about the climbing? I also take opinions 🙂 I'm fine with them climbing stuff in general btw... just not the walls i built, these are really high and awesome.

Sorry if this was already asked, i wasn't able to find anything. Well, Zombies are climbing the walls of our camp even when there is barbed wire on top. Is this supposed to happen..? And if so, what is the use of a nice base with walls and gates, if Zombies are able to just climb them without any problems? And why am i not able to climb the walls, are Zombies somehow more Athletic? Finding this out after spending so many hours collecting stuff and building a base really is... frustrating to say the least. 😦

Just my thoughts on 1.7.5.1 (despite what maybe already mentioned on the last 40 pages): If you make Zombie hearing more realistic, then please also make spawn rate more realistic. There can't be a thousand Zombies in and around a single Factory located at the countryside. At some point there is a pile of zombies, and they just keep coming and coming from god knows where... right now it's a bit silly. Sorry. But that would be about all that i have to complain about. I like boiling water, i like the new weapons, i like that zombies now spawn when inside a vehicle and can also damage it, i like the higher infection chances... :D But PLEASE Fix the Zombies, thanks for all the hard work!

How is sneaking around, avoiding and killing zombies, exploring and gathering stuff seen as "doing nothing" in a Zombie Apocalypse game? It's enough for me. Hopefully there will be more stuff to do in future versions, because mindlessly killing others is no option for me. Well i'm used to much less swearing in conversations, so to me the ammount of it in this forum in general is huge. Exaggerations, well... yeah, it was exaggerated sarcasm. I was including myself in my last comment, which you didn't quote by the way... Maybe try german? ;) Really now? ... Quake (or UT or <insert random multiplayer shooter>) are supposed to be deathmatch (or CTF or whatever), it's how you score on these games. Getting killed by players is normal, there is no possibility to play it any other way. You have no loot, you have not played for hours building up your charakter, surviving and finding rare stuff. Are you seriously comparing DayZ with Quake? And why would it be weird? I don't feel bad killing zombies of course, because as it has been stated, these are random pixel-characters (AI). But i feel bad killing players, because THERE IS A PERSON behind every single charakter in the game. A Person who maybe spend hours or even days surviving. For me, killing a player is no option, except when shot at first. It's not an emotional tie to the game, it's to the people who play on the other end. This is supposed to be realistic, so in reality i woulnd't run around like a maniac shooting everyone i see, period. People just do it so easily because this is a game and not real live, harming the realistic setting this MOD is trying to establish in my opinion. And even if no real person is involved... are you suggesting, that nobody should get emotional over a fictional story? How is getting emotional over a book/movie/game (however the story is presented) unhealthy? Do you watch movies just with a stone face and afterwards think: "Well, that was neutral.". And i do not want to restrict anything! I just want people to be more mature and have some kind of morale, like in real life. Do you really think, this would hurt the game so badly? And if yes, why? -

Seriously? I'd say people who want to be taken seriously would not spout that kind of insult. That's a pretty low level. The parts of the map outside your country are not uninhabited, there are people around the world who don't have english as their native language (like me for example). Yes of course, who doesn't want THAT! This idea sounds as amazing as it must have looked inside your head when you thought of this clever phrase, to make oponents of your viewpoint look silly. From the way you present yourself here i'd guess friends and family who ask "how are you?" get a kick in the face from you or what? Or wild insults? I see it before my eyes: "Aron, how are you man?" Aron: "FUCK YOU FUCKING CAREBEAR FUCKING *mumble mumble* ASS *mumble*..." Ah wait, maybe just strangers. Would make more sense, yeah. Because who cares about strangers, am i right Dude? 😄 Sorry for sarcasm. 😞 But really, all this deliberate missunderstanding and exaggeration is fun. -

So how would the random guy you shoot form a group, or get in a group? How do people get into your group? What about people who don't speak english, do they have less rights to play this mod or get better gear? For me there is plenty to do in this mod, all i see people do here it trying to justify their behavior. You can find all the loot lying around you know, guess where the orhers got it from. I got an AK74 (ignoring the Remington and AKM) on a normal veteran server, and i never kill people on sight or before i know or see their intentions. Killing people out of boredom is just pathetic. -

That didn't explain it to me at all. You know you can get millitary gear in every deerstand, right? And furthermore, i'm not a cheater and i don't like cheaters. So, people who only avoid and kill zombies in a zombie apokalypse have no right to get high-end gear, while other people deem it necessary to camp at high-end gear loot spots to, for some reason, protect it from the others. In summary: people shoot anyone who tries to get high-end gear, to protect that high-end gear from people who would use it to shoot other people... And this is somehow more fun than exploring the map, fighting off zombies and searching for loot. You can't generalise it like that, not everyone is the same. Even if i would get to have some gear i would normaly not get (because of another player who claims it for himself), i'd then use it to make my exploring more save. I'm not a player killer, only in self defense. -

Really? ALL of them are like that? Interesting. I played there once, and i can't remember logging out. I remember being shoot by some lunatics. If i hear shooting, i normaly investigate to see if i can maybe help or leave the area. And logging out because of zombies? Lol... -

To be clear: I'm not against PKing, i'm just against murdering everyone like a maniac (around spawn, with no stuff, getting shot in the back while trying to get a can of pasta...). What would be so bad about a server, where people try to adhere to some code of conduct? At least so you know you will not get shot in the back, but you will of course still be able to PK. People should be more reasonable while meeting. Why people would get on such a server deliberately to kill people off i will never understand. These guys are either very immature or mentaly confused. In general my opinion about people who shoot others for their stuff, because they are to lazy or dumb to find it on their own: That's just pathetic, but i wouldn't forbid it. -
I'm playing at least with one of my friends, and it's fun (and mostly on veteran, but it also depends on the available servers). I just don't need to kill players, i don't want to kill players. Traveling the map and looking for loot is HARD (if you don't use the many websites which document everything about this MOD), it's much easier to shoot someone in the back and take his stuff. I also don't see why killing people would be the ultimate goal in this game, i'd find it as booring as you may find exploring (of course i shoot to defend myself, just not out of fun, because shooting people senseless is no fun at all for me). I like exploring and it's a very big part of the game. And of course we try to be as cautious as possible when entering a populated or high traffic area and take some time to watch first. But we are only two, you have to work with what you got. BTW, my native language is also not english, it's german. For me the griefers in this game are people, who run around the starting areas (Cherno and Elektroz i'd say), getting all their stuff by killing others (with shots in the back), because they seem to be to dumb to find it on their own. Then by luck getting maybe a sniper rifle and just sit around, sniping random people from some building, thinking "i'm the greatest in cherno, herp derp". So i'm of course NOT AGAINST PvP, but against killing everyone like a maniac. And in general my opinion about people who shoot others for their stuff, because they are to lazy or dumb to find it on their own: That's just pathetic.

Yeah, because if you don't LIKE killing other players, you are by default "not skilled". Killing people 24/7 must be so much more rewarding! Except for that it's harder to kill people and they got more loot (which you don't need) i honestly don't see a difference. And don't get me wrong, i also shoot people if i have to. I don't want to change the game, i'm just trying to understand whats so fun about shooting people in the face, even when they got no weapon and no stuff.

Well, he argues with some reason. Tuggo is just being a dick and thinks he knows it all. :D -
So... Wikipedia tells me: "A griefer is a player in a multiplayer video game who deliberately irritates and harasses other players." I never did that, and will never do that. Also, i hate cheating. Would you please explain where you see griefing, when i (for example, could also be any other player) travel the map and search for nice equipment. Maybe meeting up with a friend and playing together, sneaking, searching and killing zombies. How the hell is this griefing? How is this irritating or harrasing you? So in your opinion, when we have some kind of Apocalypse, people should not work together and use common sense to get back any kind of order and normal life, but should mindlessly run around and kill each other off, until the rest has died out? Great.

It's amazing how well you know and understand how i would like to see the game develop, tell me more! Will we be able to cuddle? Will you tell me stories until i fall asleep? That would be so nice. ❤️ Look at you, shooting friendly people in a spawn area. BE PROUD damn you, you are a real hotshot! -
Well said. Last night i bandaged someone, while he was shooting and fighting off zombies in one of the pubs in Cherno. He thanked me and left some food and soda, this was one of the few better experiences i had. I really hope i have the chance of teaming up with some of you in the future. 🙂
