I think the nerf to loot will definitely cause more server hoping, it is completely counter intuitive to the BALANCING that should be going on. See you on the next hop.

I dont get the point of books, not only does it create more world items/lag etc it takes up loot spots for potentially good items. I find more books than anything else - what purpose do these serve, if I wanted to read a book I would shut the game off and read one not sit in game with my head down waiting to get shot while I scan lines from Yates. EDIT: I suppose you could read while waiting for friends to arrive...but why are there so damn many?

Then this should be posted in the suggestions section not here. Saying what should or shouldn't be in the game and complaining now without reading the upcoming patch notes etc is just ignorance especially because IT IS in alpha. -

Reducing ammo wont do anything but make it more scarce on a given server. People will just do what they always do to get ammo: Server hop. The way things are right now, per server, ammo spawns are not that common. -

You obviously know zilch about ammunition and firearms. And if you are referencing movies you are wrong again, movies often say "clip" but they are normally talking about magazines or mags. Clips and mags are 2 very different things.

Cheaters are few and far between and your post proves nothing. This could easily be lag/bugs, hence my signature (just because something fucky happens doesn't mean it's a hacker). Even if a cheater were to do something, eventually these guys will be weeded out game and steambanned. So I wouldnt care if a "Cheater" killed me other than thinking those people are sad for needing to cheat to have fun. I have yet to see a cheater, since the mod anyway.... Anyone remember the thunderdome dudes who used to teleport people and make them fight to the death. Shit was hilarious. -

Meh im running with a mosin and a long scope. One shot per chamber doesn't bother me but the gun does need stripper clips.

it makes me want to play right now. I love the hacking posts and the crying posts when people get killed. It's funny cause I just shrug it off. No point in getting mad it really isnt that hard to avoid being killed and get geared. I have killed more people than I have died. I fell 5 feet to my death fully decked out. I chuckled and started again. -
What about the bayonets. Guns with the knife attachments should act as thrusting melee weapons too. Not sure how it will function with a loaded weapon, there must be a key binding or something for it.

It all depends on my mood and the circumstances. I gave someone food and let him live others ive shot without giving it thought. IF they have a rifle or a gun drawn I assume them hostile - it's me or them.

If the supplies are not in abundance it could work, assuming of course they can be deactivated with pliers and have a decay rate(maybe)

Rule #1. Stop Whining Rule #2. Get a gun and start shooting Rule #3. See rules numbers 1 and 2 Basically, the game is in alpha state and a lot of bambi players have no idea what they are doing nor do they care. People decked out will normally shoot people who aren't unless they aren't bandits and or are bored. KoS is part of this survival game you should expect it from every individual. To me this makes confrontations more exciting. 9 times out of 10 I shoot first and never ask questions. -
