    It makes sence that the canned beans dont just apear! so player should be able to do their own food, not just hunting

    people should be able to farm stuff

    like beans and wheat.. other stuff too

    I think you are trying to make this game seem more like minecraft except in a much larger and threatening world.

    It's a survival game. In reality if a zombie were to sniff/hear/see you if they can still see that is depending on what fiction you are going on. Then it is completely reasonable that zombies can see you from quite a range. Since you don't behave like a normal zombie by crouching/scent it would make sense for them to detect you easily since you are alive and not a rotting corpse (depending on the type of infection) I have no problem with the zombie aggro range because although there will be times that you will sneak out of a town and you are running for the hill there would be a single zombie or hopper chasing after you. Not exactly the hardest thing to avoid since it is only one. But when coming across a town where there may be bandits/surivors it adds a bit more threat to the game since if you trail a horde of zombies you are making yourself an easy target to an advanced player of the game.

    I'm a US Army vet with 26 years under my belt. Now that I am retired I have more time on my hands than a person should have.

    I am looking to create a mature group to play Dayz with. Preferably US players on EST, and uses teamspeak or ventrilo. I have a TS3 server to use.

    Hacking at the moment is crazy bad, between Battleye, DayZ Anti Hax and checking logs daily myself an average of 3 people a day or 20 or so players a week are being banned from the server I'm an admin on...and no I'm not exagerating. I'm starting to actually worry that our server will be empty apart from my clan soon cause we've banned everyone else for hacking.

    Bring on Standalone!

    I'll play on your server as long as I can have some direct communication with the admins if I encounter someone hacking/abusing the game

    After you killed battlefield 3, and logged and came back did they have the same gear, IE ghillie? Also how long were you gone for when you logged?

    It was about a 10 second log just to recollect myself a little bit. They were talking shit so I decided to relog in and put their money where their mouth is. This is when I noticed that one of the bodies was missing and that he was indeed using the same guns he had when he died. The other person I killed his body remained on the floor and I guess he was making his way back because I've only heard those 2 people speaking/taunting me from that moment on. Battlefield 3 was able to get a burst of his assault rifle on my which sounded like a L86 as it was fully automatic however I didn't get a good glance at the guns they were holding except for the AS50's. There was only 1 member in a ghille when they approached me and he was the only one I didn't kill (technically)

    So I was making my way to Stary Sober from Berezino when I came into a barn looking for a CZ550. As I was in the barn I heard a helicopter overhead and proceeded to stay in the barn. These guys were talking in direct comms and heard them getting louder so I readied my Winchester for the killing. I shot 4 slugs killing 2 out of the 3 men standing. I then did a short quick log thinking I should come back to the server in a bit but instead I logged back in, focused on finishing the job. As I come back in one of them men I killed (Battlefield 3) WAS alive and standing after I saw Battlefield 3 Was Killed and got 2 bandit kills. After exchanging shots they had AS50's with either FN FAL or a L86, regardless the fact that he managed to come back to life with all his gear is fishy. I don't have FRAPs proof because my laptop can't run DayZ and FRAPS otherwise I would've been glad to show my glory kills. Can the Admin of this server possibly check the logs to see if this happened? Just happened shortly before this post. Thank you.

    The so called "normal" ppl whos only enjoyment in life is to go into a pub with "friends" and drink alcohol till one of you gets sick, already keep calling us Gamers: Nerds/NoLifers/Antisocial/Etc...

    It saddens me that all i see is that our "little" group called Gamers broke into 3 parts (xbox fan/ps fan/pc fan). Why and how did this happen? Are you jealous that you can't afford all of it? Maybe you have some mentality issues who can't accept that little fact that by a chance your opinion is not superior to others?

    At the end of the day we are all the same... Gamers

    PS.: calling others kids is just so yesterdays... try to come up with something unique. you're just being unoriginal... an unoriginal guy whos not smart enough to have his own thoughts.

    You seriously think that is admin powers...

    Learn what admins can and cannot do before making such a horrible post.

    Thats hacker, not admin. You'll be supriced how small amount of power the admins have. Change settings, kick, ban and restart, thats pretty much it. Aaaaaaand,even tough they have power to ban, there is not many occations when they are allowed to use that.

    These aren't admin powers.

    He had the (Admin) tag after his name. So he IS admin of the server.

    are you sure it was the admin....a hacker could have done the same.....and even more easily than the admin.

    this is not true. My friends were trying to rescue me in cherno and he advised everyone to stay out. So ignoring that they were in the tree lines when they were fired upon the admin. Seconds later he kills all of my friends and he dies as well. As my friends went to recover their bodies they were fired upon again by Hatcher. They killed him again and then my friend was kicked from the server. Seconds later of his death he was flying a transport helicopter over Cherno. There is absolutely NO WAY, he would be able to do the things he did in the amount of time if he wasn't hacking. I suggest a DayZ moderator/admin to look into this server and the actions of this player because he is very abusive in his powers and the fact that he is hacking.

    The admin of this server takes advantage of his admin powers. He teleports around and killed several of my friends. We were able to kill him but he had spawned in with more weapons to camp our corpses to prevent us from getting our gear back. Seconds later he was seen flying a helicopter over head. Our friend that killed him was then kicked from the server and was unable to retrieve his gear. Players, be aware of this server and be aware of this admin. His game name is Hatcher

    MikaelMazareth is a great medic. He came out of his way to save me. Gave me some anti-biotics and a blood transfusion. Even with all my criteria to meet up with him (being in a daylight server and all) he came through and was able to put his fears away and help me out. Just wanted to say thanks again and I have regrouped with some of my buddies because of what you did.
