Since a few days i only play on servers now with sidechat enabled. Its a much better experience. Hunting and killing people is much more interesting when you can read the chat of your victim :D It also really makes the long ways one sometimes has to run much more enjoyable. Just put someting on "W" and entertain yourself with the chat ;) Also the KoS Issue is less of a problem as it gives you a better way to approach other players... Sidechat is really really nice, especially if you play more often on the same server and you know the people and their playstyle

yeah you should get blood back this way but depending on the male this could from seconds to hours and the final porn-like scream could alert zeds in a 3 mile radius :D of course the infra-red scopes have to display the increasing heat in the more important body parts :D voyeurismn at its best

Additional to drinking your blood to get blood back (omfg) women could chew their bloody tampons to get blood back :) imaging your friend nearly dying to blood loss in the woods and you stick a pack of bloody tampons in his mouth ^^

How to increase player cooperation? Right now everybody in this game is potentially superman (with bullets as kryptonite) Given enough time everybody can do everything alone without the need of other players (except blood packs of course) But it is realistic or authentic? Can you repair a destroyed helicopter or a car in real life? Heal as good as a medic or hunt/cook as good as a professional? Clean/Repair all weapons (giving degrading weapons would exist in this mod) Probably not ^^ Wouldn't it increase cooperation if not everybody could do everything? This could be achieved in different ways: either giving certain skills for new spawns (probably random) like car mechanic, hunter, cook, whatever.... or giving all the people the same starting stuff (like now) and introduce things such as books (rare as fuck) which teach you to repair a car, gut an animal ect. skills once learned should then (maybe) be teachable to other players or additional idea from another thread: limit number of tool slots to force player cooperation of course nothing stops anyone from just KOSing like a boss but if everybody you meet is someone who potentially can teach you something or do things you cannot do now he is more valuable than just being your next victim for his loot. If you cannot loot wisdom you have to keep him alive (at least for some time... :D) If a person can create something valuable for you (which increases with added crafting skills) then cooperation will definately become a bigger factor in this game...

I would prefer give the classes better abilities like the medic better at giving blood packs (if blood pack healing is reduced someday) and starting with more bandages or a firefighter starting with a hatchet (and doing more damage with it) pyromaniac starting with matches and a can of fuel (or being able to build better fireplaces (whatever that means in the future ^^)) hunter: better change of animals spawning near him :) fisher: being able to catch fish near small lakes ;) and starting with an fishing rod starting with heavy weaponry or camo suits is too much in my opinion....

In this world loadet with weapons why dont give them to the zeds? Zed-Farmers with double-barreled shotguns or crossbows, Soldiers with aks, policemen or civilian zeds with makarovs? Think this would really spice up the gameplay against zeds They should of course still remain "stupid" and have quite terrible accuracy but it would be a nice change from the usain bolt supersprinter-zeds Also as zeds have to walk indoors its a lot more frightnening if a zed with a remington or m16 comes walking and shooting at you ^^ As the weapon damage is also quite low at the amount this should not lead to instant-kill zeds headshotting players :D Would also increase the risk to have a firefight in big towns as you then have many enemies shooting back at you... (i dont necessarily want sniper zombies with camosuits and as50s :D we have enough of this in human form ^^) edit: forgot the most horrifying hatchet-zed ^^

Maybe you jump from a crashing airplane because the pilots are turning to zombies :D and then land in zed-land

As we have no background story in the game (why we start at the coast) why not start as parachutist... getting dropped quite randomly across the map but being able to steer a bit to control where one lands This would spread at the people across the map and give them also a little more control about the starting locations by parachuting near a town or so :)

Like the idea. Would make it more authentic as everybody has certain skills or talents and this should be reflected in the game. Maybe there should be no combat traits (except maybe mellee skills) more other things like cook/butcher (gets more meat out of an animal, meat gives more blood back) repairman (starts with toolkit already equiped, can repair cars easier ...) medic strongman (has more blood and can carry more things but is slower) athlete (faster but weaker or just needs more food/drink than the others ) thief (weaker but is more silent when moving) countless other possibilities without necessarily adding combat related skills... (which as said most would definatly pick) another way would if this things would kind of achievements when do them often enough also a incentive for living longer ^^

In my opinion both should have dogs but the survivor ones should be able to discern bandits and bark at them (or hunt them down and eat them :D)

Maybe there should then also be a menstruation-cycle for women? Every 28 days (28 days later lol it gets bloody.. :D) they lose an amount of their blood... less blood lost if many tampons are used ... ^^
