Hey, I managed to fix up a truck, and I drove it deep into the forest to park it when i logged out. It was in the middle of the night, so was pitch black - i couldn't see the truck after i got out, so just lay down next to it and disconnected. A couple hours later I rejoin the server, and the time is completely different - still night time, but not 2 hours after i logged out - i think there was a server restart. Someone told me that occasionally your vehicles/tents don't respawn again on server restarts - i think that may be what happened, as i doubt anybody could find it deep in the wilderness in the pitch black of night. Anyway, if that IS the case, is my truck gone forever, or will it spawn again on the next restart? Thanks.

Ahh well.. I'll go back there tomorrow or whenever the next server restart is and check it out - if it isn't there, it isn't there! I will cope xD

Aye, i will check the area when it is light again, but in future i will not get too attached to my vehicles ;D Lucky i took everything useful to me out of the truck before i DC, just incase this very scenario happened xD

Maybe - i will check. Very annoying if that is the case though. I guess i'll just have to travel deeper into the woods?

It was a VS3 - i cant believe it was taken in the small window i was offline - this is like the 3rd time this has happened, so i made a real big effort to hide it deep in the woods - any tips on how to stop this from happening?!

Easy to join by IP, just click 'Launch' on the Six Launcher, go into the multiplayer server browser and click the IP button along the bottom of the screen :)

What I did when joining with friends was click on the 'Launch' button on Six Launcher and use the server browser in game to find the servers. This worked for me and my friend, and if you type in the server name into the filter, you should both get the same results :) MY problem, however, is that yesterday I played on the same server, and had a vehicle etc, and you know vehicles are server specific - it was all good yesterday, but now when i filter for the server name, i can't find it! I don't want to lose my vehicle! Any tips on what i can do? Avant did you say that it worked if you connected via IP? Thanks

Hey guys, I was just doing some vehicle hunting when i found an overturned ATV Quad Bike. It seems pretty fixed - all wheels are on, and the body looks healthy. The only problem is, is that it is on it's side, and i can't find the mousewheel option to enter the vehicle - i can only look at it's gear. Anybody know how i can flip it over/find a way to get on it? Thanks! :)

Do you know how long that will be? Or is there a way for me to find out?

Hey, Today I found a van with a lot of very good weapons in it, which still drove well. As anyone would, I got in the van and drove off to another location, to hide it. I believe that after 6 days, if not 'Saved' the vehicle will despawn, and disappear? If that is the case, I'm in a bit of trouble, as I'm going on holiday soon for over 6 days, and there will be nobody to save it from despawning. I was just wondering whether anybody has any ideas of what I should do? Thanks! :)

Yeah I didnt hide mine well xD I was being chased by someone off the NW Airfield and i drove up the road and parked it in a bush >:D Oh well, another will come! I will hunt one down >:)

Hey, I was quite lucky in finding a fully working bus (along with alot of other rare items) within the first hour of playing DayZ. The only problem is I don't know anything about 'Saving Vehicles' or anything! I've read that if you want a vehicle/tent to stay where it is when you logout, you need to 'Save Vehicle/Tent'. I'm assuming that the vehicle/tent stays where it is whilst you are logged out, so other players may steal it - seems fair (correct me if i'm wrong please!). The thing i'm not sure about is whether my vehicle/tent will be where i 'Saved' it on a different server. It seems like it wouldn't be there, but if that is the case, how am i meant to keep a long lasting vehicle, or have a tent which i store some extra stuff in over a long period of time, if every time i logout i lose them?! Thank you for helping! :)

Ah, so if i save my vehicle, it will be there only on that specific server, no others? And what do you mean by they dont always spawn on server restarts? Thanks for the quick reply!
