The side channel IS an server option, but rocket has instructed server owners not to use it. some servers still have the side channel enabled.

more buildings that can be enterd and more viraity of buildings and bigger cities i would like to be able to enter more buildings because more loot 'n stuff i know electro and cherno is big, but bigger cities would be awesome

the mod is not dying, school has started again that is why the ammount of player activity as dropped, i have not played dayz the last 48 hours because of school and work. just wait untill the next holiday the ammount of players active will spike!

Here is a pic. and for some reason i have zombie kills and humanity points, i am a fresh spawn.

so, i got shot in cherno and died, i respawned with my legs broken bleeding and uncontius (this is the first time experiencing this, i recently updated to the lates patch) so i alt + f4 hoping that i just had to swap server, now when i spawned i am in the ocean(i can see land, but it is far away) just off prigorodky. so now what? what should i do? edit: okay, i just died, problem solved!

i do not think the golden days of the DayZ mod have started yet

i bought arma 2 CO just for dayz mod and so far it was worth it. i say go for it the standalone is said to comeout late 2012 early 2013 (mabye, it does not have a confirmed release date yet, as far as i know)

"ArmA 2 OA" is required to play and you can get "ArmA 2 free" on stream, thats all you need to install and play the mod

minimum requrements to play dayz is that you own and have installed ArmA 2 operation arrowhead and ArmA 2 free, not just arma 2

did not see this, there is a way to fix it it does not allways work tho, do this: 1. hit "LShift" and "num -" 2. type "flush" (no text/chat box will appear, just type it. remember to look directly at the artifact) 3. your screen will go black and it will say "reciving" it should work

you have to take all the stuff that is under the backpack then you will get the option to pick it up

it kind of work like this, orange (man) is zombie, blue (survivor) is another player. you can only see zombies on the map that can see you, not all servers have this.
