Did all you see was "_____ was killed" because i've seen that before when loading and when i actually loaded i was fine. I would wait and see until you actually get in and then panic -

So it starts with me climbing the big Cherno tower to get a lay of the land. I get shot and killed by a guy on the 2nd level and tell my friend so he keeps an eye on him. I respawn in Cherno, grab a lee enfield and manage to kill my attacker. Then we notice a 50 cal sniper guy on the highest point watching his friends body. After about 5 minutes he DC's and I loot my kill while my friend goes to a nearby tower to cover me. When i'm climbing down I see he's been killed instantly so I run up to where he died and go prone. Then the sniper spawns/pops/logs-in in front of me, see's me and logs off. So I wait and 5 minutes later he logs back in but in a corner where I can just barely see his gun and he doesn't see me. So I run behind him shoot him with around 20-25 m16 shots until he dies. So maybe 6 seconds later a guy with a double barrel shotgun spawns in front of me, shoots me which forces me to hid to reload my gun. So while i'm hidden he grabs his friends as50, hides his body, then dc's. Another 3 minutes later I see the same guy spawn at the first guy I killed, hide that body, and log off again. I wish I had bandicam going when it happened, I don't see the fun in completely exploiting the game... /endrant

Its all relative... A great player derping around airfields, cherno, elektro etc WILL die sooner than the noobiest noob playing in the woods or very small towns for awhile. -
Haha I cant imagine wasting an hour ingame trying to kill a guy who had no gun to begin with.

Do vehicles spawn 100% working?

I find it typically on a curve Small vehicles like motorcycles, atvs etc are mostly repaired. Medium vehicles like pickups or cars are usually mostly destroyed. Large vehicles like buses and cargo trucks are a little more repaired. Not sure if it's intended to work like this. -
Does anyone know where this motorcycle spawns now? I've been trying to find it for awhile now.

Animals, Ghosts and a different flare

1. Wolves and Bears - Yes this, bears can have like 20 meat and to balance out the skin that keeps you warm you dehydrate at 2x normal rate. 2. Ghosts - No, thank you 3. Flares - Yes, especially now that you don't start with flares and I can never find them. Why not make it an actual gun that does what you say, but also take the pistol slot and can cause decent damage within say 10 meters idk. -
Unlimited zombies, limited ammo.

Given the limited zombies available in 1 server this is the only way to make zombies an actual threat. If you wanted to get more realistic, then Cherno would have 100's of zombies, not just a few stumbling around. -
Sounds like you either spawned inside a truck or right in front of a truck and they went and ran you over. Seems like bad luck, but lesson learned. Only log out in a real safe spot out in the woods or somewhere inconspicuous

ALERT: DayZ - US 104 Chicago Possible Abusive Admin

It's a hack, I personally have been killed by hackers 3 times on us 104 chicago. Idk what the server hosters did to these hackers, but they are pissed and seem to constantly attack that server. I now stay clear. -
It would be cool if there was a flashlight that took a binocular slot that maybe sits on your chest or head. Pressing a button turns it on similar to NVG's or Binocs. That way we could fight and see with a flashlight. It would be rarer than a normal flashlight, but less rare than NVG's sort of a midway between being defenseless and being a night god. Thoughts? (Apologies if it's been suggested I searched through 5-10 pages and didn't see anything)

People don't understand that this mod is in Alpha, and they are all butthurt that they paid $30. Except that $30 is for the finished product of Arma 2, not DayZ. In alpha we are testers. If Rocket makes the game too hard then people should leave constructive criticism, not this super whine-fest about how Rocket "ruined their finished game" Whiners and Trolls man.... starting to get to me. :/ -

I mean obviously if you roll in a group of over 10 then you are generally considered safer as bandits won't try to take you out. We use between 3-5 people typically which is a nice combination of stealth and firepower.

Zombies already Melee' date=' its already in. [/quote'] It's an AOE attack, not true melee. If you are behind the zombie while it does it's attack on a player in front, you can still get hit if you are within range. Arma does not support true melee. It won't be on par with say god of war obviously but very possible. You shoot a gun, the muzzle flashes and people die say a 100 meters away. Change the animation to an axe swing and change the effective range to 2 meters. Boom melee weapon. Now I don't have the skills to do this, but when you break it down it doesn't sound impossible. -
Even though I couldn't understand you guys... awesome video and thanks for the subtitles :D I'd watch more from you. P.S Nice job actually checking those sheds instead of going straight for the loot like 90% of people do.
