They spawn, loot farming high value and long barns can get you some, 3 hours of farming got me 1 beartrap, 2 cz550s, and loads of crap. Not worth it.

I wouldn't be surprised if somehow a pile of invisible rubble destroyed his bus. At this point in the mod, anything is possible.

They should have bodies slowly disappear as zombies eat them. Want to dispose of a body? Just drag it into the street and lure some zombies to it, magic burials are lame.

Radeon 6970+i7 2600k+16gb RAM All settings on maximum except object detail, on normal, because seeing snipers in grass doesn't need to be harder. 60fps 90% of the time, lowest in town is 45. @oshnatour You should be getting at least what I'm getting, you need to fix something. -

When (if) tents get fixed, I'll go back to what I always did. Loot farm NWA, and fill tents with every gun imaginable. Then go on PVP sprees until my tents run out of gear, rinse and repeat. -
The only fair fight I've ever been in is when a friend and I ambushed a UAZ. Killed the passenger, but zombies came after me, I lost the driver. Then began the game of hide and seek. Once my friend arrived to back me up, we cleared the entire area, 4 kills for me, 2 for my friend. The only fire we took was from a guy who shot at me when I was losing zombies after my first shot. Not exactly a firefight, but all my other engagements are usually me sniping someone, or someone sniping me.

Yes, because frag rounds are just what this game needs... I would like to see more shotguns though, I never get a kill with them since I always find an AK right after a Winchester or a M1014.

I would vote out NVGs in a heartbeat, if only nighttime brightness was more consistent. Maybe in stand alone... Unfortunately, ghillie suits are all powerful, and there are plenty of a-hole snipers, so thermal scopes are a very good thing to have. -
I just keep dxtory open, and hit record whenever something happens that isn't just running. Even with a bunch of youtubers POVs, if they are all just running around, it's not much use.

I believe humanity is glitched for me. I had 1 murder, 1300 humanity, on murder later and I have -1800. Change servers, humanity has gone up to 10000, and has stayed there after another server change. This has happened twice now, and at this rate I'll never lose the hero skin. Has anyone else had this happen?

Thermal Range finders! Glitch

@Vipala But you will get the range without having to switch from gun to rangefinders, which could make or break your shot, especially if the target is moving towards a building or other shelter. -
There is a set % of incurring pain when hit. The dayz or Arma wiki might have the exact number.

I wish side chat was on for 2 reasons: 1. Less killing on sight. 2. I have had to murder people with my assault rifle because they thought trading bullets at point blank was a good idea, I would love to type in chat after killing them: WTF were you thinking man? -
Normally you would be right, but Cherno was lit up like daylight due to a chopper smashing into the International Hotel. Besides, even if the couldn't see me too well, would you fight someone at point blank range with a revolver vs M249? I would have tried and make the survivor answer trivia questions, and if they lose they get a grenade to the face. Much more entertaining than killing on sight.

It doesn't help some people are down right stupid. I was in Cherno, on a night server with 3 other people on, and I run out the back of the fire station only to have a survivor with her revolver out run into me. I was too shocked to shout friendly, but I had the hero skin on. I sort of just ran around her, not aiming, not standing still, and what does she do? Sits still and starts shooting her pea shooter at me, the guy with the M249. She's dead now.

I agree with currency, then I can set up a roadblock, and my merry men can rob the coach of its valuables, which I can use to purchase fine silken robes, garnished with precious stones.

How much would YOU pay for DayZ standalone and Why?

Assuming you only have to pay once, 15 alpha, 25 beta, and 45 for final copy. I'll be buying it at alpha anyway, so whatever the price for beta/final doesn't really matter to me. I would pay an additional 15-40 dollars for a limited edition, depending on what kind of goodies you get with it. Art is nice, but not worth 40 dollars if you ask me. Maybe a custom t-shirt for people who played the game on ARMA 2, giant bean cans, that sort of thing would be ideal. -
