I like to think about this game like a huge zombie Metal Gear Solid game. Weapons and Equipment OSP (ON SITE PROCUREMENT) Or maybe Im just obsessed with MGS :o

It would be awesome. There could be RARE herds of horses that would spook very easily. Most likely you would have to be extremely sneaky and/or work together with friends to capture a horse.I saw a thread before asking for rope to be implemented into the game. You could use the rope to *Make Lasso*(Possible future inventory command?). Also I think in able to ride you should have to find a saddle and reins (in barns and stables/farm areas) in order to ride, just to add a bit more difficulty to it. The horse would not need jerry cans obviously... so when you mount your brilliant majestic stallion a food and water meter will appear below the Debug. Horses love grass (I grew up around them). Also you could share your canteens with them or just bring them to a pond...etc.

If the DayZ standalone switches to Arma3... then we better see DayZ ported to consoles because if not we will lose most of our players. FACT, most people dont own computers capable of handling games like Arma3, BF3, Skyrim, Crysis... etc. Queue the "console fag" and "get a better pc" Comment Trolls!

Scrap metal can be found in any industrial class buildings. Also I see chickens all the time.

This would be good. However I think scrap metal and feathers from chickens would be better than wood.

I feel like 90% of the suggestions being made in this forum are from people all butt hurt about how harsh this game is.

I was down in the dumps... 3k blood and a broken leg from a doorframe glitch, I honestly thought I was a goner. However, I had seen this thread awhile back and decided to give it a shot, and alas, I was not let down. As I lay helplessly in the grass outside the Elektro Hospital, I made contact with the badass medic Snortan (His name on the Forums). Long story short, he busted into Elektro in the middle of the night, killed about a dozen zeds and managed to heal me completely without me seeing him for more than 2 seconds. It honestly looked and felt like a scene from a movie. This really is an amazing community and I hope these medics continue their adventure!

I broke my leg crawling through a doorframe. Luckily Im in Elektro and managed to get on top of the hospital (I heard crawling over broken glass will kill you). Can anyone save me with morphine? Also I am slightly low on blood. Any help on this matter would be really apprectiated!

Let me just say that I am extremely impressed with this mod, and that I really cant get enough of it. Super addicted lol. However I feel that some of the core gameplay features are extremely limiting and exaggerated. Food and Water Dont DayZ servers play in real time? If so why does my character require entire canteens of water every 20 minutes? Anyone who has ever been in the military knows how painful it is to drink an entire canteen in one sitting. Why do I need to eat chickens and cans of sardines every 30 minutes? It's ridiculous. The food and water system should be toned way down. I find myself spending hours crawling through villages searching for cans of food and soda, so that my fatass character may exist for atleast another hour. Once you get a decent gun and a respectable amount of ammo, you really spend all your time frantically searching for sustenance. On top of that, water should be easier to come by, and players should be able to refill canteens when it rains. Also, I think it would be a good idea for raw meat that we collect from animals to dry over time and become jerky. However I might be the only person who has a hard time finding matches. Thanks for reading lol. Any thoughts?

You should have to eat/drink 3-4 times a day in playing time. I have never died from lack of food or water either, I just feel we could focus on the better aspects of the game if it was toned down.
