I've just recently downloaded Dayz for my brand new PC and have been able to play it fine from 2 minuets in to an hour and a half. The problem is randomly my monitor will lose the signal and I wont be able to turn it back on. I then have to restart my computer, when I do this is see that my internet connection (hooked up right to router) is limited. Though after my screen losses signal I can still hear the in game sounds so I know it's still running. Everything for Dayz and ARMA2 is updated. Can anyone help me My system. I see that everybody in this game is a bandit regardless of why they have killed players in self defense or for more equipment or just for fun. It seems like there needs to be a new way to become a bandit so there can be some separation on players. this can be done in many different ways. 1) looting, players killed and looted could easily be a different way to gain your bandit status. the more you loot the easyer you can become a bandit. The problem with this is players that kill fresh spawn may have no need to loot the dead bodies and can remain survivors. 2) friends list, any friends not previously killed by you on this list and found in game before you add them could increase the amount of kills you can get before you become a bandit. or at least have an option if you want it to or not. just in case you want to be one. I can not think of any more but if I do or you have any I'll update this.

I have not really payed attention to to many machinimas but after seeing the game play video that are so amazing to watch I was wondering if anybody would be willing to survive long enough for a machinima in this game. It seems like people are wanting more and more videos of this and it seems like a perfect way to get some people to watch on youtube, might also be fun.

I think a fun thing about dayz is that you can't trust anyone and it's up to you to gain it.

I would like to see this on a level were you get zapped after you were in combat and make sure it is really just a blinding zap that doesn't last nothing more.

This is just a couple ideas I came up with, whether it is stupid or not i'd like an opinion on it. 1) camouflaged nets. this would be something that would be very usful for laying down camouflage for vehicles teammates, really this would serve very little purpose against zombies but it would be an easy way to hid valuables from bandits as you go scavenge a town.

well I figured it would be used more for a long distance use. Just because I have seen people post security on there precious vehicles while others search a town, I see this as a way for a solo player to maybe store items on his own and bikes or vehicles in the tree lines.
