sounds like a cookies setting problem to me

1. I know that, I thought somone with the same issue that has fixed theirs could give me some insight 2. Its been like this for a week or more 3. No need to be so hostile, I was simply asking for help. For some odd reason my dayzcommander wont update to the latest beta patch for arma 2. It tells me the latest version is 97771, I however know that this is false because I have manually updated to 98089 Attatched is a image with my problem Anyone know of a solution?

Really wish I could be of more help but if you have tried everything in the thread I linked you then im really not sure how I can help. Try setting sixlauncher to run arma 2 OA through steam, then check your steam setting for your microphone and make sure it works through steam Thats the only other suggestion I can think to tell you to try Good luck! EDIT : Compatibility mode could also work, try setting it on different modes (XP etc) to see if any of them get your mic working EDIT 2 : This could be causing problems, I just rememberd a friend of mine doing the same. This is a bad idea, rather enable all recording and sound devices they might co-depend on one another thus your mic not working.

This makes no difference, if you launch with sixlauncher you can still run the game as adminstrator. Follow my steps on how to do it in the thread I linked you. I also run the game through sixlauncher and that is how i got my mic working. sorry to keep redirecting you to the same thread but thats the only way I can help you. Hope you get it working!

Sorry to hear nothing worked for you Only thing I can suggest is to try it all again and make sure you didn't miss anything Also make sure the person you are talking to has the same beta version for arma 2 that you are running otherwise your mic might be working but its just that he cant hear what you are saying Sorry I couldn't be of more help Hopefully standalone DayZ will have a much better microphone detection Wish you the best of luck getting it working!

Thanks guys Sounds like an interesting concept Is there any way to increase it? or is it there purely as a number that decreases with murders?

What is it? Sorry but I wasnt around before 1.5.8 and hence have no idea what it is I checked the lastest patch notes and couldnt find anything about it either
