This was bothering me too. I've had a zombie walk right up to me, and have to turn because I was in his path of movement, but not see me. But then a zombie I probably would have had trouble shooting comes running across the field to eat my face. does the zombie standing/crouching/crawling affect their field of vision?

Have you played the zombie games that are out there for console? They are not survival horror. They are shooters. The walking dead I'd say falls under a RPG. They are not anywhere in the same league as DayZ.
