I read your post and now I wonder if maybe this happened to me. I hopped on DayZ one day and was banned globally but i never hacked or did sketchy stuff. Maybe it's because I found a hacked medical box and took some gear one time (AS50TWS, Silenced PDW, and some kind of grenade). But i didn't get banned till days later so I doubt that it was that. When i posted a forum voicing my opinion and frustration I got a few people backlashing at my post saying that I'm probably a hacker and sarcastically saying I work for WarZ. Seriously, whats up with gaming communities these days? They used to hold a lot of nice friendly people and now they are all jaded. And why have like most of my forum posts been complaints? Because I have a good reason to complain. In fact I don't understand why people are so fanatical about things like DayZ, which has major problems with its value as a game, being that they can so easily take away your right to play it while at the same time many others get away with breaking the rules and ruining the fair players' fun. DayZ is not all that it could be. Why shoot down my opinion with illegitimate words? Anyways, sorry for the long post but it knaws at me that I just get to watch my game sit there and then the friendly staff and posters on these forums throw salt in my wounds. (emotional wounds that is...lol)

Hello DayZ community! I got Global Banned today for the great reason of: none. I didn't do anything other than try to join a server and got instantly banned :). Lovely. Well I hope to one day be unbanned but that harsh BattleEye system we're under here is probably never going to let that happen. I am honestly tired of how I can play this game for hours collecting great stuff and be instantly anihillated by a hacker. Is that considered a fun experience? ... Collecting stuff? It's a zombie game right? Isn't the title DayZ? as in Day of Zombies. I think they should rename the game DayH or DayB as in a game where you spend the whole time trying to avoid or fight hackers and bandits because frankly, that's all there is to it these days. And also, they should add a warning to the game "May be banned randomly and at anytime with no means of appealing or even figuring out why it happened- Courtesy of BattleEye." My Point I am angered that I was Global Banned for no apparent reason. I was further angered to find out that there is no real way to appeal this and it doesn't seem to ever lift. I am not a hacker. I feel this game is constantly hacked and messed with because people are simply bored of working hard to get supplies in order to try and have fun- which usually is thwarted and isnt very fun anyways because no one is focused on killing zombies but rather killing eachother only. Why is this? I beleive it's because the zombies are less-than-par in comparison to games like Left 4 Dead, which can be very challenging at times. There are no real hordes of zombies to be cautious of in DayZ. The game does not cause you to focus on surviving the zombies at all really. I'm sure rocket & company are working on it but i'm dissapointed that i will never be able to see the progress because their worse half (BattleEye) has banned me from enjoying the game ever again and I do not know why. My proposed solution: Either fix the game so people never have a reason to hack or fix the banning system for BE or maybe some combination of both. For now I am going to find a way to get unbanned because I did not spend 20 dollars on a game just to watch it sit there all the time! What do you think? Does the game need improvements? No. Just because I have a complaint does that mean that I am in opposition to the game? I've never even played warZ though so it's not that I just am some warZ fanatic.

Yeah I believe it was that type of Global ban, I didn't think that was very useful information, sorry. I wasn't scripting or hacking, but hey I guess BattleEye thought i was. I'm not trying to make sense of this unless it would somehow lead to me finding out how to unban myself. Still, thanks for responding, I appreciate that you want to help.

I posted a very similiar topic because the same thing happened to me a couple of days ago. I saw a downed chopper and before i got close to it, it made the sky look like it had giant flames everywhere, when i look in the direction of the chopper. The chopper had nothing to do with the fact that everybody in my server instantly died all of a sudden 30 minutes after the strange glitch (it was server US 922). This was a hacking for sure. I lost a ghillie suit and a MP5SD, this is very very annoying isnt it?

Hello DayZ community and admins! I was just on US 922 when something absolutely insane (aparently) happened. I died with 4000 blood still and nothing actually caused my death! The weirdest part: on the screen it showed like 22 people also died at the same time.. and no one was around me! no explosion, no gunshot, no nothing. Unless this was a crazy glitch that only i saw (which it probably isnt because like 7 people logged off after that) then it seemed like hacking or some insane random bug. Either way, im pissed because i lost a ghillie suit in berezino where i just died. And no i didnt get a screen shot because i dont play the game in window mode so i cant take one. Someone please tell me they've seen something like this happen before!!! :(

Thats what i was leaning towards thinking. Thanks for a response. I'd hope the other people who were playing on the server just now would also post or veiw this...
