    I think it is a good idea but sorry, I shouldn't have to have mandatory anything to play this game other than the legit copy of arma2 that has been purchased to allow me to use the dayz mod. When and if this ever gets to be a polished complete game I hope this topic gets revisited, just not with this idea.

    yes, it is grossly innacurate, but tons of fun. I support this...even if its just a reskin for variety. I want 2 six shooters in game. Hey they have a Winchester, why not? or even 2 mp5s. Realism aside, more gun options = more fun for me as a player

    sorry for not putting NO! No bandit detection sounds or any other tell tale sign...the element of realism would dictate you should never know when youve encountered a bandit.

    I would say given the information the OP was too quick to judge and now the real issue is whether there was a hacked gun involved. This does not seem to me to be a hacking clan. They have showed up here to post their side of the issue and it seems legit. Guess its out of everyones hands now.

    I appreciae this being addressed out in the open. I am not the only one who has been kicked for killing people who were server admins. This rage kicking is absolute nonsense, and I appreciate that although changing it may come slowly, the gauntlet is down, and the message is clear.

    No there is already a rocket type launcher so far more rare than the heli! I have looted everything in game more than twice over but haven't even seen the rocket launcher. Also, if in fact the .50 cal can take down a Huey than stinger is over kill. And.....imagine what type of destruction building damage and grieving can be done by hackers and stinger missiles. I would advise everyone to vote no on this

    The title of the post was misleading. So a player killed you. I am sorry this is upsetting, but this is Dayz. If you want to hold hands, sing, and make peace signs, I suggest the Sims might be a better option for you.

    Furthermore, the whole point of being a bandit would be to possibly befriend or deceive a player before ganking them. By having a tell tale bandit alert or signal when in proximity takes the bandit element away from the player.

    This also happened trying to dual log, and it really just bugged a person into spectator mode both as the crow, and from its airborn position. This happens in Arma2 as well not just dayz..it used to happen when multiple people on one network tried logging into same room together. It has been long fixed
