but its not an FPS its a milsim. I look at WarZ to be a failed carbon copy in many respects to the idea of this game. I never once got any WarZ on the radar until DayZ took off like wildfire. If you feel the need to reduce yourself to only comparing the two, there is no decision for me; Dayz will win everytime. So i have to ask, OP, is this your way of illustrating your dissatisfaction with Dayz because of its differences to WarZ (which I would be surprised if you were familiar with), or is this an attempt to let off steam in your frustration of Dayz play in general. * a little side note, I find it hard to weigh your judgements on this game until you play it from a nice gaming rig and not a "crappy notebook." until then sir I hope the jury is not out....

I support this if other construction vehicles were implemented. I would love to drive a bulldozer through camps and turn over a chopper or truck same with a forklift; I would love nothing better than to drive it into a hoarded vehcile and satchel charge them both

this is common and all part of the game. Stop getting attached to things..remember there are other people out there who want nothing more than to subvert work that other people do; that is part of their experience. You need to stop looking at vehicles as something you can save and enjoy them when you have them. That way youll never be dissapointed

do not snipe from fire station tower, you are sking for it from a handicapped and exposed psotition. Set your sights on higher buildings.

To the op...chopper was never "yours" just cuz you repaired it. All the players were right when they advised that vehicles arent saving properly. If you saved it, after one reset it should go back to its normal location. After two resets it might return to where you saved it. O and lawl@u for thinking you saved it in a "hidden" place

If we were allowed to do this we could booby trap vehicles, muhahahaha

thanks bubba i do just fine sniping i/g the OP was four hundred meters from a target who was running around doing his own thing not paying any mind to his spot. Im well aware that we spawn into the world in a standing position for 3-5 secs before going back into the position we logged in. Every bit of info the OP has relayed (although minimal) suggessts this player was running a script and didnt just catch a glimpse of a player standing 400m away

the solution you provided is weapon decay which is generally poorly received in gaming communities. I could care less about looting other players I need nothing they have. the only problem with the aspect of the game youre talking about is server hopping for loot. Deer stands arent the problem either. Time will fix this problem with the addition of fixing tents and server hopping. Just got to wait this one out. So if the thread is in fact about weapon decay, I would say no to that but a good suggesstion.

youre being an asshat posting they were a good sniper. To the Op, if you had just logged in and had made no movement or indication of position and the target you were watching turned and fired on you most likely they were running a script. If thats how it went down...now if you had licked a shot...all bets are off.
