  1. It's the fucking zombie(or infected, whatever) apocalypse, I really doubt with scarce food supplies that you would still treat animal the same as you do at the moment.
  2. The only way you can recieve forgiveness is to find the sniper who shot you and give him the gear he rightfully deserves since your 'friend' apparantley wasnt even going to help you up. Your friend should do the same to since he probably would have died too.
  3. n_findlay14@yahoo.co.uk

    Own up.

The first time (and only, so far) I killed someone was after I died and headed to elektro to get some basic supplies. I headed into the firestation and announced that I was entering to anyone in the tower. I reached the top and saw a guy with his gun pointed at the stairs. I didn't shoot, but then he fires he lee enfield and somehow misses me (I'm literally 2 meters from him) I return fire, my heart racing. 2 Shots from my Winchester into his center mass and he dropped. I felt bad when it came up as a "murder" instead of "bandit" and tried frantically to revive him. 20 seconds later and I had got over it. Told myself that it was justified, he shot me and I returned fire. Case Closed. Took his ALICE Pack and compass, map, matches and his makarov and gtfo of elektro as fast as possible.
  4. Im more then certain that near the top of the firestation there is a wall, that if you look at it the correct way allows you to access the ladder outside.
  5. I'd have more respect for bandits if they were encouraged to mug you for goodies instead of just shooting you. This way they are forced into the same risk as a survivor who wants to help, if he wants to mug he has to get in close...much like a survivor who wants to help another survivor.
  6. M16. My first spawn, i just ran forward and ended up at the fire house on the outside of elektro. I then climbed up the ladder and got shot by someone from elsewhere upon reaching the top.
  7. L, as most have said, but you might want to rebind it. Mines on mouse button 4, for example.
  8. Admins like this should be perma banned and have their servers blacklisted. You're going to die at some point in dayz and if you cant man up and accept that at any moment you might lose your equipment to anyone then you dont deserve to play the game and you sure as hell don't deserve to run a server.
  9. Well this wasn't my most depressing death, but it was for the random guy I teamed up with. We both came across each other whilst I was going through Dubrovka, we both said friendly and we both had pretty low blood. Both of us were constantly fainting so we agreed to team up so that we could cover each other if we fainted. We headed to berezino hospital, the town was quiet and I shot the glass with whatever gun I had (I think it might've been a lee enfield). We grabbed a couple of medical supplies and out of nowhere hear the cries of aggro'd zombies. And then it happened. I had fainted. He epi-pened me and told me to run. I didn't question him. I ran like there was no tomorrow and heard the sound of makarov rounds being fired. Then a couple of moments later and it just stopped. I turned my head around and saw the zeds ripping into his flesh. I looked to the bottom left and saw his death message. I felt sad. I wish I had remembered his name.
  10. Found a Coyote backpack in a deer stand, also found an M14 in the north-east airfield.
  11. NO. Just give us less mags for the makarov to start off. They seem to be pretty common anyway.
  12. 7 days and counting on this character. I used to be a guy who wanted to be friendly to everyone and help them, but I've been killed too much by this playstyle and have now adopted a 'leaving everyone alone' tactic, if you shoot at me, I'll shoot right back. But if you keep to yourself, I'll act as if you don't exist (unless you have your gun pointed at me for an extended period of time).
  13. After following some tutorials on how to install dayz with sixupdater and using google to figure out how to enable the beta patch, it actually became pretty useful, two clicks and dayz and the beta patch are updated.
  14. I would've said no to bandit skins a week ago, but I changed my mind. A survivor has consequences for everything he does, try to approach someone, probably going to die. Give someone medical assistance, might get shot in the back, etc. Whereas a bandit, they have zero consequences for what they do, people only do it because of that. The real problem with bandit skins is they could be earned with too few kills which were most likely self defense. Why would you pick a playstyle that's entirely built on risk and trust when you can just shoot everyone you see without fear of any repercussions?
  15. Found a BAF Offroad at green mountain today.
  16. If I recall correctly, it's icons for AI squadmates or people who are under your command. I THINK.
  17. I don't really care if I lose everything, therefore I don't treat everyone I see as a bandit. The only time I consider someone a bandit is when bullets start flying my way.
  18. This happened to me the very first time I got the the NW Airfield. Went to the barracks and saw the wire and was like "Da faq is dis crap" and proceeded to successfully vault over it.
