    problem is reoccurred now with all versions of the nvidia drivers i have tried. i upgraded from a 430 to 650 watt PSU just in case but it didnt solve the problem. google shows its at least a minor issue for some people but the flush option doesnt fix it for me. i have to ctrl-alt-del and restart from there. also, at least in my case, this is not a key combo bringing about the minimizing and i have a switch on my keyboard to disable the windows keys. /sad face

    i was having exactly the same problem. coincidentally mine started after upgrading mobo/cpu/ram but my gfx card remained the same with an 8800gts. i had installed the latest nvidia drivers (306.97) so i went back to 301.42 which i was using before upgrading the system and it solved the problem for me.
