    What i did was watched a few vids, and i have already learned where places are, what building have what loot etc. A good thing to do when you respawn, is look at the bottom right corner of he screen, it will tell you what the nearest town/village is called, remember what it said and look at this map: http://www.dayzwiki.com/wiki/Gmap/beta/gmap.html and look for the town/village. thanks to that, you can find yourself some basic supplies like food, drink, weapons etc. Also, remeber a few towns and villages like komarovo, komashovo, balota and most importantly the big cities (chernogorsk and elektrozavodsk)
