Had the same problem, reinstall dayz. just delete the @dayz folder and download it again. if this don't work and you're a steam user then open your steam ->right click on Arma2 AO -> properties-> local files-> verfify intergrity of game cache. -

Join an 80 slot server, go to Cherno, find a hacker (Just check the roofs) and get everything you need in 20 min.

Atm, everyone is camping in Cherno/Electro and NW airfield and a little variety wouldn't hurt. I thought, let us see/hear the chopper's when they crash and maybe increase the loot. This change makes it harder to get the best gear and chopper crashes becomes a pvp event. And this event only happens all 3 to 5 hours if 30 or more ppl are on the server. So you can't abuse it by just joining an empty server.

Mh yeah, i think the problem is that you always find them on big fields and it's easy to find a good sniper spot to camp them maybe they should also crash in forests Oh my god. Please that's no criterion and be al little more creative. Firstly, it's a game u can even add zombie ufos Secondly: Do you really think there are no millitary survivors?

Reduce the sight of NVG's to 300m - max 400m and remove the thermal optic from the L85A2. and also reduce the normal sight at night. When it's night and you're down to 4000 blood, even if your brightness at max,you see nothing and should be the normal sight at night. You don't have to fear snipers anymore and makes flashlight weapons and the whole night game more interesting. Edit: For the guys who say the arma Nvg' sight is the same as in real life :

Dunno where you guys come from but in germany u can restore almost everything within two weeks also games.i did this Years ago with UT2004. Edit: if you use steam, just close steam and restart as administrtor, should help.

Next time just try to disconnect as fast as u can. it works. That's the only reason why alt f4 shouldn't get fixed now. You may spawn in the air again -> same again until you spawn on the ground.
