Well, i'm active admin and since yesterday i'm forced to lock down the server. We found not just one script kiddie, else 2 or 3 of them together, if tracking one of them is kinda hard, how you can track 2 if they work together and cover each other? I was feeling like a log worm, trying to find a spot, but in the end i felt bad for all those players who was playing at the moment... Being active - not help a lot, to make a trench you need tools, same admins need normal tools to admin the server...

Until solution will be find yes, its with pass, i still want to run the server and give the ability to play you all with ping 20. But if there will be no solution to script kiddies i will just shut it down. I hope this will just stay as a text here on forum, but else if no one care about the script kiddies it not safe to play on our or other servers. On this weekend we will try to rollback to previous version, and try to figure out when the save will work. Second stage - we will try to understand how to fight the script kiddies, hope that will somehow protect players.

Well that's very sad to me as well. I hope there will be a solution as soon as possible

Hi all. I must say that its just getting worse, more kids discover BE bypass and start to use scripts. I'm running IL 4 server and all was fine except path 1.2.7.5 not saving vehicles and etc .. (Already have open ticket and i suppose you know this issue), but yesterday we had like 25 people online and some kids (not just one) started to give away rare stuff to all players, broke legs, teleport all players and transform players into animals, and kill all. At least one of them made a mistake and got banned, but his friends still were able to use scripts and was trying to save his ass by making more script attacks on server. So i was forced to close the server, its now only available to community of players that i know playing clean. Waiting in patience for some anti-cheat, or at least some power to admins to discover script kiddies, for now i have to read logs and pray that some kid made a mistake and discovered himself. The power of admins should be more then just server restart and log reading, we need more tools to protect the dayz game-play and discover+ban kids that trying to cheat. I understand that some admins will use it for their needs or illegal use, but its easiest to discover 1 server with bad admin then searching for 1-2 kids on minimum 40 players server. Regards.
