You've made your findings official. Dev's HAVE said that the loot cheat cheet isn't updated. I see no reason to trash it before you get a official response from the Development team. Maybe a subforum for these kind of posts would aid the Development teams finding and replying smoothly.

To be honest, I find it a little cheap to place tents outside the map grid. We've had just about all our camps robbed within a few days after creating (inside the grid). However suggestions within our team, to go off grid, has been declined.

There are multiple M4 CCO models, only one with flashlight attached. You obliviously found one without. When you look at the rifle, even i 1st. person, you'll see the flashlight attached at the end of the barrel.

I'm sure you aren't causing havoc by requesting a character restore thru dayzdevteam@gmail.com but with the amount of 'buggy deaths' occurring, yours is just a needle in a rapidly growing haystack (registered players wise), so I doubt you'll get any answer. Lost 2 gucci characters to bugs, painful each time but I've learned to accept it. Tough luck bud.

Up here you don't get a chance to claim your friendliness, the north folks have bullets with "any stranger" written on them. We embrace the light breeze of winds in the trees, birds singing undisturbed, welcoming our hikes across the woods and towns. City folks of the south, your polluting our peaceful land with empty bean cans, alcoholic tendencies, and aggressive gun-slinging. You will be send back to the southern coast by natures guardians protecting this beautiful landscape.

So, we are all combat trained specialists waking up on a beach in zombie land? no... I don't have any experience with knife killing but I only know two scenarios where one-shotting knife kills occur; In the movies and people who have years of combat training. I wouldn't mind some kind of solution when you run out of ammo, aside from sneaking like your life depends on it, but it shouldn't be on top of the developers list.

I didn't like it at all the first few days, but I had a really good experience with it last night: In very short resume Starting from scratch at he beach in darkness and heavy rain, seeking shelter to stabilise temp. Waited for a break in the rain to go look for matches. Found a random survivor who was freezing more than me and we went from house to house looking for some fire. Luckily I had a friend come to the beach to rescue us with a warm cozy fire after 30 minutes of moving from shelter to shelter at critical temperature - we survived! Rest of the night the rain was on and off and had no problems keeping temperature up while moving. So far I think it's a really nice addition and a interesting feature to the whole survival aspect. I just wish it wouldn't rain as much. It CAN lock you in place for quite a while if the weather is against you but that's a reasonable trade-off for a essential feature to dayZ. The whole wood issue is discussed elsewhere, I think that's where the adjustments should be focused.

Was surprised to hear the sound on the youtube, would have thought it a much more 'aggressive bang'. Anyway, nice that the community has some audio pro's, the sounds play a huge role in this MOD. Check out http://www.freesound.org for inspiration, do a seach for 'Zombie' while at it :P

I'm tempted to call it griefing but I'll correct my self before going too far... Let's just roleplay it and say; Wow, a helocopter! F'k it, I'm gonna steal it a get the ride of my life before the zombies get me - "Goodbye cruel world, Jeeehaaa!". Most people would do the same, even if they couldn't fly it properly, the temptation of a brief exitement is simply to big, I guess.

I'm in no way an expert on the matter but the last few weeks we havent been able to find any of the choppers or any desent vehicles, found a ATV and a few boats but most are like sunken into the ground :-/

Yes, deer stands and dead bodies put together, provides a better loot table than the Airfield.

On 'our' server vehicles are gone and not respawning, or so it's said, believe me when I say we've looked everywhere.
