Skype works different as teamspeak. Skype is like a social network: you have to add friends to be able to call them and chat with them, it's more 1 on 1 calls (also group) Teamspeak is used by clans/server hosts to comunicate because you don't have to add people to be able to talk to them, servers use this sometimes to let the people playing on their server comunicate. even though not everyone on the server is actually on the teamspeak. If you meet a player in DayZ, you will have to start comunicating through the direct communication ingame. you can ofcourse add eachother on skype and arrange a call over there.

Some ideas I have for DayZ standalone: 1) Add something that can cut through fences and wire fence just so you can get through obstacles easily. you could barricade of roads so people will need this piece of equipment if they want to go on a ride. 2) If people want to gut animals, they should be able to kill them with a hunting knife, it is silent and no bullet waste. You could make this a challenge by making the animals getting scared if they see you, suspect danger. 3) You should add a feature to backstab (or break the neck of) people. speaks for itself. I hope to see these features in the game.

does anyone knows a private hive server where you get a weapon when you spawn in? wanna have some fun in cherno without ruining other peoples dayz

I would suggest making the humanity system a point system where you can buy a hero skin and bandit skin with points ( bandit points and survivor points or something like that) you can get points just the same way as humanity, only it gives you the option to change clothing. what does the community think?

Nr 1 rule: don't trust anyone in DayZ, I killed you easily with the M240 took your gear and DC'd, left your chopper where you landed. I feel bad for you but it was such a big mistake by you, couldn't resist shooting :)

This is something you should know when playing on PC... Ping is the time it takes to send data (like a shot) from the moment you click untill the moment it reaches the server. Since everyone should have the same reaction time the server looks for a balanced ping (high pings = server lag) Easy explanation, not the best one but you'll get the point

Hell no, a sniper is designed for long range 1 hit kill, all the people saying it should be 2 shot are obviously rushers/guys who just run over open fields
