  3. Just started playing dayz again after a long haitus. My last group stopped playing. I'm fairly experienced with Chernarus, but not so much the other maps. I'm very active as im in between semesters. I like to player hunt (who doesn't?) regardless of location (NW airfield, starry sobor, cherno, elektro, etc.) I would also like to get a camp site set up and maybe get some vehicles going. Being at least semi-experienced is necessary. The role of each person will be discussed later after the groups chemistry is examined. Please reply to the thread to keep it bumped.   4. After playing on us 1051 for an hour, a teleporting as50 wielding wookie appeared at the western perimeter of the city. He appeared out of a seemingly devoid corner of a low value loot spawn. After seeing him he immediately one shotted me and brought me down to -149999 blood. I thought ok maybe he logged in and shot me in the head. Five minutes after "respawning" I was teleported to a field stripped of any grass or trees with arid moutains upon every horizon. How do I kill my self to actually continue playing the game? I don't want to hear that "hur dur games in arelpha!" take your goosebermps else where because alpha or not, the synergism of these two issues make the game literally unplayable.

    Notice how none of them are acknowledging the whole deal about the same 8 clan members that usually log in to the server were on during the locked phase. Keep trying to throw sidebars into the argument instead of trying to refute the main points. It isn't drawing our attention to said sidebars but rather drawing more attention to the things you have been accused of. I guess they have not been blacklisted as that would be a conflict of interest to the company (more money = company doesn't give 2 shits). I wonder if this cancerous philosophy will continue in the standalone. Off topic: why the hell is there the option to even lock servers for admins to begin with if its against the ToS? Couldn't they just remove that feature for dayz server admins?

    Regardless of if the server is being repeatedly hacked, keeping the server locked while a consistent number of players have been logged in (presumably your "tourny community") for extended hours looks like pretty good proof to me. So not only is locking the server breaking rule number one, but there's extremely strong evidence that you are abusing admin priviledges to aquire gear with no risk from other players. That's two violations which merit a blacklist. @TPFir3fox, learn to spell claim correctly please. It will help you look more credible in the future. @Shadowfox931, do you really expect us to believe that both you and fire share the same name structure and piss poor english for a US server are in fact not a part of the same "tourny group?" The butthurt attitude of the "good day" statement aids to africanbeez credibility. By the way, there's no such thing as a tourny group there's either teams or a corporation (or makeshift corporation) which host a tourny. The host of the event can have their sponsored team compete in said event. What was described by TCEd is a clan community. Deal with the connotations that come with the territory don't call coffee pot a cooking pot, it's just dumb.

    Quite simple to counter this. One character per server, any servers join by said character are unable to join any server that a different profile have joined in either's lifetime. This way you dont get perma-barred from some servers with certain alts.

    This game is in alpha. The point is to test what works and what doesn't. It is being treated as if it has gone standalone already with all the rules perma-set. Why is there even a suggestions section if 99.9% of them aren't even considered (read) by the dev team?

    Made me actually lol. Which idiot at Bohemia gave arma 2 (A MILITARY SIMULATOR) the go ahead before realizing this? The other total pants-on-head aspect of the flashlight is that when your character sprints with the light on, he swings it around like a lightsaber instead of keeping it directly in front of him. Pretty sure using your arms for counter balance for running is outweighed by actually seeing where you are going and not alerting anyone nearby with the morse code flashing.

    That environment breeds "pick-up" group mentality which leads to betrayal after game session with zero incentive to stay loyal to current group. In fact, it tempts players to do exactly that. They can just go back to the "community" to round up some more easy replacements/prey.     Wow thats pretty shitty. This is exactly why I'm keeping my current stash secret incase of a bad apple and advise anyone I team with to do the same: damage control. Very stupid on that guys part as you were worth way more alive and friendly then the temporary loot he stole imo. Added. Good to see that you have a role in mind. Roles will become more relevant once we have a squard of 4+ secured though.
  15. Hey everyone, I've been playing for about 3 weeks solo now and I'm looking to form/join an active group. Anything over 6-8 players starts to become chaotic and untrustworthy. That being said I'm not interested in joining any "clan." I'm experienced and on quite often. We will start our own new camp site while not spilling the beans about the server/locale of any current camp. You are more than welcome to migrate belongings to the new camp once set up if you wish. When making first contact I will be devoid of most of my valueable items until candidates/group can be vetted and trusted. I encourage you to do the same but, may bring what you want. This protocol is in place to shun the possibility of trying to misuse this opportunity as a trap for ezloot or betrayal. Send me a pm if you are intereted. edit: I'm from the east coast US and have very good internet so I can play on either western US servers or most UK servers with ~35ms. My playstyle is stealthy when ever applicable and lethal when appropriate if that helps any.
