Helping people is another fun thing you can do in this game just like being a bandit, exploring, or just being a plain survivor. How about you stop telling people how to play the game and let them enjoy playing the way that they do. I see nothing wrong with helping, I honestly needed quite a few YouTube videos to help me especially in the beginning, and I actually think it would've been cool if someobdy in game were to actually tell me these thing rather than a video on YouTube. So to those people that help noobs by giving them a couple supplies and some advice to help them, I think you are a doing a damn good job!

Yea, its happened to me. Not so sure what it could be either but according to other people its probably from HIVE servers, who knows, maybe you accidentally connected to a HIVE server?

Not sure if this was already addressed, but do boxes of matches have a certain amount of uses? It seems like a sensible question seeing as realistically, a box of matches does have a limit.

I think the "Z" stands as a variable. A variable meaning it could be any number, because no matter what day it is... You are still going to be out there... Still going to be surviving... Still going to be stuck in a world of zombies. (Day 0, Day 32, Day 9,001) = Still zombies!

Why are people so worked up about what they are called? Zed is the Latin Alphabet version of the American letter "Z". People just like to use it as a nickname to call the zombies. It's slang, there are many slang words in this world and zed is one of them. I'm American and I don't find a problem with it as long as I know what people are talking about when they say it. Personally, I usually say "walker", "hopper", or "crawler" based on the zombie's movement.

Rocket said he would like to get it released standalone not too long before christmas, but who knows? were still in alpha so its still pretty blurry at this point.

i havent been server hopping, i ran across the map in one sitting, stopping at about 7 small towns only to find absolutely nothing, unless other people are server hopping?
