If you can join a server with BE enabled you are not globally banned.

Try a different server. I think that is just a server ban. Admin may have made a mistake or something.

There are cheat engines with virus now. If you hacked before and got banned then bought this new copy and got banned again you may have been infected. Of course you will deny this if it is true or it is not true. -
Back before Dayz there were thousands of Bigfoot sightings on ARMA/OFP yet all the screenshots are blurry or out of focus.

What video settings do you use in game?

I max everything. For Dayz I turn draw distance to 6k instead of 10k because it gives me about 15 more fps but even at 10k I still get 35-40 fps. 6k gets me a solid 55fps. -

You may not be optimized to play on very low. try running the benchmark on medium settings and see if the results are the same, worse, or better. -

Dayz is a terrible benchmark for performance. Go into Arma and run one of the benchmarks in the single player missions. You can then adjust your settings based on the results. Remember if your graphics are too "low" it can effect your performance just as much as too "high". -
It would be really cool to have to go out and search for repair parts for your hydroponic farm.

So you basically think that you are intitled to a discount on Dayz because you bought Arma 2 on sale, on steam just to alpha test an experiment? You really should have thought this out before posting it because here comes the napalm.
